The article in revolver confirms that it's 7 actual songs with 2 segues.

According to Barnes and Noble, expect the Guitar World to start showing up in stores after August 9th and the Revolver after September 3rd.

Coheed and Cambria released a phony "double album" with two discs of 35min each (sold separately to boot), I don't see why Tool wouldn't just split it over two discs in one package: Ascension/Descension am I right??

Something small of note...

The most recent post on Toolband.com is regarding Danny's upcoming show with the Jamie Kime Band.

What's interesting is I believe this is the first time a news post has an image uploaded with it on the main page. Usually you have to select the Read More button to view the image and details of the post.

Either there are some updates taking place behind the scenes or Blair's just experimenting with some of the posting options.

Always looking forward to updates and improvements on their website.

If the album is 85 minutes, it will definitely be interesting to see what's to come.

7 true songs and 2 segues sounds fantastic! So Fucking stoked for this album and maybe 5 more new songs to me if one isn’t the Danny solo. Thanks for the repost from reddit and sharing.

I have yet to buy the catalog on iTunes yet cuz I am a broke ass(I do want to support the band and actually own these albums, so I will buy soon), but I do have Apple Music and downloaded all the albums last night. Went on a nice coast walk last night whilst listening to Opiate and most of Undertow with headphones. Both those albums sound better in my opinion than the CD rip versions I had in the past. They sound great and so happy to get back in Tool again. I honestly haven’t listened to their music for months besides the boots of Invincible and Descending, and even have cut those out in the last few weeks cuz we are so close to the studio versions. I just have listened to all their albums so much in the past that this few months break has really made them special again to me and can’t wait for new studio work!
