It really hurts my brain to see so much armchair lawyering going on. "Millions? Really? Seems a bit much." Does it? I just... man. And it's not even coming from some place of defensiveness as a fan. Whine about Tool until it feels good, I couldn't care less. It's the continued proliferation of this new culture of half-information, false-information and conjecture that just kills me. You all KNOW you know nothing about it, why does it nag at you to pull at strings and try to parse this shit?

lawsuits can obviously be very wearing and tedious. so many emotions, a life draining and grueling experience. if anything, the bi-product of this whole fiasco will be some new fire for Maynard to write to. anyone else agree? sounds like it's right up his alley.

I think the latest RS article is a ruse.

Oh. You're one of those Tool fans.

I give this guy about a month....

I think TOOL are the "Boy who cried Wolf"

No. You're thinking of Mark Wahlberg.

Lawsuits gave birth to Lateralus.

Something to think about..

Christ, get a grip people. This lawsuit malarkey isn't the cause of any delay and it isn't the fuel Maynard needs to be inspired to write great lyrics. These are professional and extremely talented musicians, not fragile little children. We haven't received any new material simply because the music they create is complex and takes time to assemble. That and the band is admittedly lazy, filling their time like most wealthy do by taking vacations and avoiding work.

We really need MOG to come back and provide the balance this place requires to function. Embarrassing.

Not that i want or dont want MOG back. Why do we need him here to say the same thing you just said but in a much more hostile and condescending way?

What balance exactly would MOG bring in this situation?

Awesome. I got sick of his fucking mommy and daddy issues back when he did "MER DE NOMS".

I look forward to the day when someone proves to me that Jones isn't a petulant little bitch.

Honestly, I taught five year olds in Korea that had more composure and decorum than that fucking girl.

And to think we've been blaming The Nard this whole time for these delays. Here's an idea, Adam: Get a fucking decent lawyer who is competent enough to give you straight-forward legal advice.

I don't think Mog would bring any balance or perspective. It's pretty clear that most here think the lawsuit excuse is a shitty one.

Don't crucify me, but the person that runs the 'Tool archive' channel on youtube stated six days ago that a new album is in existence.... Has anybody else looked in to this or is it just another line.... DON'T CRUCIFY ME!!! I am just asking....

I dunno, maybe it is, but I don't buy into any of these "album is ready for release" conspiracy theories. Where did he mention this?

In the comments section... I too am wary of TOOL conspiracies but I figure whoever runs this page may have their finger on (in) the pulse...

Well, I'll believe it when I see it like most of us I guess. I don't really know anything about this Tool Archive dude, but none of my sources are squawking anything.
