you see what I did there? no predictions or nonsense. it's just a picture but it does speak ten thousand words.xZ1mM3r wrote:agreed. Its hard to deny serious progress when you have a photo of all 4 band members in the loft.N.Y.H.C. wrote:I can't believe it's been 8+ years and outside of a concert you NEVER, ever, see those four together. it made me smile.
LOULZ Yes! That would be hilarious!_peterpwn wrote:now imagine them saying, geez buddy, with you around the whole chemistry is so fresh and new, we should write whole new songs from scratch
well whatever they put on a cd for MJK to listen to obviously rattled him enough to where he came to the studio, if it was a BBQ or something that would be one thing. but them sitting in front of the boards together is very exciting to a 20+ year long fan.Ravenpig wrote:LOULZ Yes! I agree 100%, that picture said a lot. They are well aware that there are millions of people hanging out for any news and this was finally a good piece of news without all of the ambiguity.N.Y.H.C. wrote:well whatever they put on a cd for MJK to listen to obviously rattled him enough to where he came to the studio, if it was a BBQ or something that would be one thing. but them sitting in front of the boards together is very exciting to a 20+ year long fan.Ravenpig wrote:LOULZ Yes! I'm not entirely sure there was even one to begin with. I just thought that message was amusing.Ravenpig wrote:Yea it was only one. How would it have been like me?
That fact that they are now moving into "arranging" definitely suggests to me they're on the home stretch. After more writing/arranging sessions with TOOL during the day, DANNY will be performing at night with THE WEBB ALLSTARS at the BAKED POTATO jazz club in STUDIO CITY, California.
you have a rough copy of the album don't you, tell us you sly fox. just hum one for us so I can blast it in my car.hellboy wrote:Interesting update of sorts today on Toolband:That fact that they are now moving into "arranging" definitely suggests to me they're on the home stretch. After more writing/arranging sessions with TOOL during the day, DANNY will be performing at night with THE WEBB ALLSTARS at the BAKED POTATO jazz club in STUDIO CITY, California.
does hellboy even have a realistic possibility to hear some music before the general public? I understand he can get some news from sources, but what are the chances he actually hears tunes?N.Y.H.C. wrote:you have a rough copy of the album don't you, tell us you sly fox. just hum one for us so I can blast it in my car.hellboy wrote:Interesting update of sorts today on Toolband:That fact that they are now moving into "arranging" definitely suggests to me they're on the home stretch. After more writing/arranging sessions with TOOL during the day, DANNY will be performing at night with THE WEBB ALLSTARS at the BAKED POTATO jazz club in STUDIO CITY, California.
It's actually 83.33%UndKeineZwEier wrote:Hellboy spends a good 85-90% of his time in the loft.
I don't know about that. That Opiate reissue was announced within a month of it's release, if I'm remembering correctly, so it's not unpossible that they'll pop something out between now and Christmas. Not that I necessarily have high hopes of that happening.Ravenpig wrote:I did at one point but not anymore. It's already November and you'd think if they were going to release anything before Christmas it would've been announced by now.
I'm guessing if there is a Salival 2 type thing it's going to be released late winter/early spring followed by a 10K Days vinyl then the new album next year.
