Granted, I didn't give it much of a chance beyond a few spot checks after the intro, but it was very poorly done in my opinion. Take another listen to Rynne's levels vs Danny & Blair. If you don't hear the problems, I would be quite surprised.

Sure, it's amateur, but why go to the trouble and put the time in if you're going to fuck it up that badly.

Also, I've listened to quite a few other Saturn shows and none of them were this bad. They just shit the bed on this one.

At the very least, you're speaking for me. I would much prefer Bottrill. Lateralus just has some much room to breathe whereas 10,000 Days everything is just crammed with the volumes jacked up damn near clipping levels.

Tool's progress on this album is like that show Lost. You can stumble upon the show a couple years after you got tired of the ridiculousness of it all and not know what the fuck is going on, but deep down inside you know that nothing has really happened since you left.
