I read that it was The Mission, but haven't actually seen it.

Humbling River might have been more appropriate.

No kidding. I read today her husband/trainer killed himself last year. Hopefully she gets another shot and picks a better song next time.

Rosetta Stone (live, because they would have to have at least one 10k day song on it)
Opiate (with new middle)
just wishing for at least a salival type thing probably just a video packaged thing for opiate, wait and see i guess. ....
I could see the curveball being something like this, which I would call a reworked Greatest Hits rather than a Salival 2, because for Tool a greatest hits would really be unexpected. Plus it's been so long since they've put anything out, it could reintroduce their catalogue to the youngins before the new album drops. Though I think the Opiate jam is part of the new album.

Why release a greatest hits album a few months before a new album. Not to mention they only have 4 albums, with maybe an average of 7 songs each. Not a huge catalog worthy of a greatest hits

Salival was basically a greatest hits album with the videos and they only had two albums and an EP. I think it is totally reasonable to think Salival 2 will have something similar. That set list looks great to me. Live Grudge would be killer off the soundboard.

For a curveball, I'd love to see Adam stick it to all you "Lazy Bones Jones" guys with a feature-length movie, like The Wall. He has shown an incredible ability of blending different visual techniques and now that he has a pretty big team of collaborators I think he could do it. They were probably in the studio tracking some Tool-ish segues to fill up the movie.

One can dream...

He doesn't contribute to the segues, at least in a live setting.

I'm not saying that I think this is what the curveball is, necessarily. It's just on my wishlist. And... there are a few factors that would play into it. Adam has done a video for Opiate and likely The Pot, speculatively speaking. If they did a full-length motion picture they could meld a bunch of stuff together, perhaps incorporating stuff from all of their records. With all the artists he knows and brushes up against he'd have a full-fledged team of collaborators that would jump at the opportunity to make something like this---it would stand on it's own for decades. I know Chet Zar says doing Tool videos was probably one of his favorite things he's ever done. Meats Meier is another that loves working with Tool. It's plausible he'd even have the wifey collaborate with him.

This could be packaged with some accompanying artwork and an audio disc... I believe it'd be a big hit.

Just sayin'... I consider this to be my personal-best-case-scenario-curveball.

A two hour long TOOL video with two hours of segue music would just be the absolute worst thing ever. These clown need to put out some music.
