Not at the show. Picture credit goes to TAOutsider via someone else. That being said, we will be at the clinic in Columbus and ROTR as well.

IG link works fine - very interesting from Maynard. I don't think there's anything malicious about it, just a bit of joking around now that we're approaching the end of the train ride.

I'm sorry but even if he is joking, he's still throwing the other three under the bus.....to thousands of people that definitely aren't in on the "joke". If it was a joke, it's kind of in poor taste when a good portion of people in the crowd, ie casual fans, will run with it.

Looks like it was well worth the 5 hundo. Hope they are going to do some more of these (especially in Texas).

Definitely surprised how many cameras there were during that session. I'm guessing that was after the Q&A + mini-set part.

I am sick of all of it. I have nothing positive to say so I am not gonna say anything for awhile about Tool. These clinics clearly mean a lot to some people and while I don't understand it, I am not gonna shit on the clinics or those attending while they are actually going on.

"OK. We're ready to start recording the new album after approximately 8 years of writing and arranging in the loft studio."

"Let's do it guys!!"

"Oh...wait! I have an idea: why don't we stop the recording process after the first month and go on a nationwide meet and greet tour, whereby we can get up close and personal to a bunch of people who want nothing more than for us to finish the new album after approximately 8 years of writing and arranging in the loft studio"

"Let's do it guys!!"

This band leaves me speechless.

Pretty sure the tour was booked before the album was officially finished and ready to be recorded.

Whatever. I'm firmly with Maynard on this one.

And I'm rarely ever with Maynard......

I guess money talks. Or maybe they like the ego boost of playing in front of an audience. If they were touring Aus I would have gone but my preference would most definitely be they stayed in studio and finished the fucking album.

3rd thought... can't recall when the tour was announced but maybe they knew album wouldn't be finished in time for APC album / tour cycle so figured may as well fill in the time?
