Given that Adam has worked with a few comic artists in the years since 10k Days might give a clue as to a possible direction. Adam usually gives a few hints as to what the artwork is like - in the leadup to 10k Days there were plenty of 3D photos shared on Myspace.

I think we can all agree that we hope Alex Grey doesn't have a major part in the artwork this time around - I enjoy his stuff, but two album covers is enough.
it's unfortunate Giger passed away in 2013, I would've loved to see some Tool inspired crazy naked alien murals. it's a shame they never crossed paths, I'm sure the boys are fans. did Adam ever work on any of the Alien movies back in the day? I wouldn't be surprised if he did.

I think they use a giger work for some visuals in their live show. I might be wrong, but it seems like I remember him in a credits somewhere.

It could be anything at this point. I would honestly settle for a black album ep of remixed jams. I'm going on a hunger strike if it's not out in another year.

There's no way that documentary is real.

One of my sources showed me some footage of it - it's totally real.

Yeah, I especially liked the scene where Justin talks about selling his art collection. He's a real renaissance man!

mediocre searching has turned up nothing for me......... it is basically a landscape shot of a road in the country that slowly morphs during length of song... i found comfort in this video/photo/screenshot as i was in the depths of front row to TOOL amazement yet squambling the fact that my lady was giving birth to my son back home. what a sensory mind fuck......now if only it can be found now

Ohh yeah... you were the asshole that disregarded your new life being brought in to this universe.
I admire you and give you a sitting ovation for your comedy.

I think they might do something cool in relation to social media with the album's innards. like the first 100 thousand copies come with one unique piece of a puzzle. then each person has to sign on to a site and put their "piece" in, after it's completed we get something to share. maybe a cool short video, animated pictures of some sort. or as you know Tool are a bunch of pranksters, it could be a 3D digital recipe for some kind of stew.
