Post by xZ1mM3r »

What is everyone's favorite sequel or sequence tracks tool has done?

Intermission/jimmy

Prison sex/jimmy (Maynard claims jimmy is the sequel to Prison Sex?)

Parabol/Parabola

Disposition/Reflection/Triad

Wings For Marie/10,000 Days

Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned

Intension/Right In Two

And if everyone just picks D/R/T name your second favorite haha.

Opiate into the next album.
That would, possibly, be a good sequence.

I like the sound of the elevator shaft starting up into The Grudge.

That sound propels The Grudge, and the remaining tracks, into existence.

Slightly OT but I still watch the Tuva sawblade/eye intro on the Lateralus '02 bootlegs - best intro ever.... wish it'd be released someday/somehow. Always thought it'll be on the DVD. I'd ask Jones about where it came from if I had a Q&A... or if I could weasel a copy.
The video intermission on the Aussie '11 tour is also an excellent contender for whatever I'm talking about... which I'm not entirely sure, hashtag.
Thanks.

I saw 'tuva' performed at CoSM on one of the closing nights in NYC. The group of gentleman who performed the opening for Tool shows in '01-'02 were very kind, and very talented.I honestly forget the exact name of the group who performs it is, but if I remember I will post it it.

Here are some examples:

5/20/2001 - NYC, NY
9/22/2001 - Hartford, CT
8/12/2002 - Trenton, NJ
5/20/2006 - NYC, NY
9/28/2006 - Camden, NJ
10/5/2006 - Hartford, CT
10/6/2006 - East Rutherford, NJ
10/7/2006 - Uniondale, NY
8/1/2009 - Jersey City, NY
1/31/2012 - Uncasville, CT
