I really hope they come back to Texas and play it for us. It is a bit strange that they came back around to do the same run again so soon, and before they hit up the PNW. Then again, I'm sure it had to do with winter.
Tool are now officially rain makers, what a storm y'all got! Maybe that's why they've been holding back, they wanted to give you guys some rain after those fires.
I just hope this doesn't become Ticks and Leeches all over again.
Sure Adam flubbed a bit, I'm sure he was nervous. But he nailed the parts that count. He's just shaking off those debut blues. Bring it back stateside!
Been waiting for this! A proper event imo. Pretty honorable first time effort at the song I thought.
I feel the whole middle solo could be more of a freeform thing night to night, with Adam expanding and contracting the parts based on his mood haha. Might be less pressure that way. That drum/bass groove is so locked in and evil, why not get funky with it. As long as there's a clear 'time to jump the f--k back in Maynard' cue, they should be good.
I hope they keep playing it, if only to get one or two nailed performances RECORDED so we can have a killer official live version in 10-15 years time.
Call me crazy but I'm gonna go with the guy that was actually there
just listen to it dude. plus hes just chirpin' as usual. like we all are. come on kidd! ha
Nah I'm gonna hold out til after this weekend. I've avoided listening to the new ones live since the album dropped so another few days won't kill me. Hopefully may even hear it myself Sunday night if they feeling sassy enough.

Best of luck Busty and thanks to all that posted the opening riff clips.
