I believe VIP gets you in the first 5 rows.

Do you want to even be that close for tool? I hear back center near the sound booth is where it’s at?

I always thought in the booth slightly behind Junior with your breath slightly brushing his nape as he (and you) pulls and presses during the gig would be the optimal fan experience.

I always wondered how juniors lighting set up is at his house. Could imagine shagging him in his bed and then the descending lights just wave all over you. Anyone else think about that?

I like how it says info can be found at toolband.com and there’s exactly none anywhere. It’d be really cool if they offered regular tix somewhere other than the floor (like first 5 rows in the lower level) as well as VIP tix. I hate the floor because I’m short and there’s always some 6’10” dude with a hat directly in front of me.

I like to be showered with Justin’s sweat, but I guess everyone is different.

Same here. Ideally I’d be in the center of the lower, in the first few rows without someone tall in front of me. Can’t really do shows on the floor due to my height.

Tripled. I am trying to get first row or so because of this.

The times I have done VIP I have always gotten front row. Honestly though, would not mind being a couple of rows back. Some of these venues have high stages (I am 6`3") and it sometimes feels like I am just looking at the band's knees and missing some cool lighting/visuals. Plus the damn number of people trying to crash the front row gets a little old.

Back to a question someone hopefully can answer- if you get TA presale tickets, do you know what seat/section it is prior to buying them? Not looking to do VIP, and don’t really want a seat too close and miss the eye candy.

I was front row in Portland 2014...…...fifth row in Vancouver 2017. Although I was kinda absent minded from the show front row as my son was being born back at home. the fifth row was great after burning a joint during the grudge the 2 dudes beside me left and never came back. nothing like arms length either side of me for the show.

Can someone who has bought tickets through the Tool Army presales comment on what types of seating are usually offered and how often server crashes ruin everything ? Or is it usually worthwhile and only occasionally a disaster ?

Those are very costly tickets.
