Been to 4 shows since the 10k Days era and I keep missing my all-time favourite Lateralus tracks (The Grudge, The Patient and D/R/T). Hoping to get to see one of those before they call it quits.

I'd love to hear those again too. Maybe one day they'll do a mini tour of each album, similar to what APC did. How awesome would that be. \m/

Would love to see Tool do a Lateralus themed tour. I kinda get the impression that they aren't interested in album style shows though.

I'd say that would be the only way you're gonna see reflection back in the set again but also don't see them doing that. If they were going to, you'd think it would have happened during the downtime over the last 5 years or so

I agree that D/R/T was probably a "you had to be there" type moment, kinda like Wings was on the 10k Days tour.
That said, would be quite happy to see it back in the setlist.

Nice write up about the show. Enjoyed reading it.
I was maybe 2/3 of the way towards the back of the line and ended up with 4th row dead center!
I may or may not be near you in this picture.

Quite funny but I have no urge to see reflection again. Disposition/Triad would be fine. But with CCtrip doing the round Triad won't be returning anytime soon I guess.

There's definitely something about that section of the song. I think it may because it's right before Adam's solo. The anticipation of knowing what's coming next.

Wrote this in a more extended reddit thread but as far as I'm concerned, the songs we're likely to see busted out are:

1) Basically anything off of Opiate/Undertow with the exception of Prison Sex
2) I can see Eulogy coming back since it gets soundchecked and got played recently but I'm not holding out for anything else off of Aenima besides the 3 we always get
3) The Patient or The Grudge (done recently, not as long or taxing as Ticks/D/R/T)
4) Right in Two (but I doubt we are getting anything else off 10k besides the three we get)
5) 7empest

Most of the artists are beginning start selling their tour posters they received from the band. Looks like they are signed and will be getting signed by the artists as well. Not sure if all of them are signed. Also Alex Grey has some TOOL tour merch on his site too.

i just hit my 20th show on Nov 12th its what i expected. tired of the same old. being as close as i was to seeing danny play was the highlight of the show for sure.

the weird cool thing was i never heard ''part of me'' live before. so that was cool. i would of liked Descending way more but the 1st toronto show got that and not the 2nd. i hadnt heard ''the pot'' since 2006 so that was worth it too. parabola is always awesome as where the new tunes. Jambi was exceptional that night as well.

thats from 1993 - 2019. ive only missed a few shows that could of been added to that list so not too bad. so ive been seeing tool for 26 years! holy shit! ha

ah cool! did you try to knock out the conspiracy of people that hoard posters to sell online ? bahah. when i was going to my seat a couple guys had there posters up against the seats. i was careful and said something about them being a hot item or whatever i said. i didnt see what it was till i got back home online the next day. it looks like Ripley as the Queen in Aliens or something. really weird looking. pretty decent show though.

Tompie might be steve actually. i wont take Steve to concerts anymore cause i end up babysitting him/hes bad luck. total drunk! haha
