There is legislation being discussed to deal with that kind of privacy invasion, though I don't know if that'll affect it at all.

You won't have to connect your Xbox One to the internet every 24 hours to play games. You can loan physical games to your friends. You can play the Xbox One in any country. And you can buy and sell used games.

We've no word yet on whether or not indie developers will be able to self-publish on the Xbox One like they can on the PS4, nor on the system's onerous Kinect camera requirement. And the Xbox One still costs $100 more than a PS4, though a Microsoft spokesperson told Kotaku today that, "We are very confident with the value we provide at $499 and the unparalleled, all in one games and entertainment experience that Xbox One offers."

Nah, fuck it. I still won't be buying one. That Kinect thing creeps me out.

And honestly, no one should buy this thing just based on the name. It's ridiculous.

I really don't get the whole Kinect is creepy angle.Â It kinda annoys me that it has to be plugged in only for the reason that I move my console around a lot and that's one more thing to worry about, but I already have my kinect plugged in most of the time, and look forward to its improved functionality.

I also wish they would have kept their original plans for DRM i was very interested how the whole family share thing will work.Â I realize I'm in the minority here, but just my 2 cents.Â To each his own i guess.Â

I just found out that the Xbox One has 8GB of hard drive space, with 3GB dedicated to non-gaming services.

Hard drives are also a part of the console and can't be removed or replaced.

And people had to install their games in order to play them.

What the fuck?

Both consoles sport 500 GB internal hard drives.

Both systems have 8 GB of RAM. The PS4's GDDR5 memory, however, is faster than the Xbox's DDR3 RAM. Will this be something that you actually notice in day-to-day use? It's still too early to say.

It's sounds weird as hell, but I kind of want to play it despite the poor review.
