Waiting for Snowrunner to come to gamepass, I ain't paying $70
Already posted games I played this year but since then I've been playing RDR2, after the first go around and not being able to progress from chapter 3 because of a game breaking bug I've made it to chapter 4 this time around!
I'm loving it on the X Series X, zero load times and looks amazing (I've upgraded my tv since to LGCX & have a E-ARC enabled soundbar).
Playing this game on OLED with ATMOS available it plays so fucking great and has given me a greater appreciation of what this game actually is, a revolution.
11/10 game of the generation.

I've spent quite a bit of time with RDR2 as well. It's quite interesting to see how far ahead of the curve Rockstar are with Open World games compared to the rest of the industry. Cyberpunk feels pretty flat compared to even the 7 year old GTAV. RDR2 is light years ahead.
It might be 90% smoke and mirrors, but they sure know how to use them.

What are people's thoughts on Early Access games....half me thinks independent producer needing a bit of funding and the other half is like finish the game first!
Satisfactory I want to wait until full game is released or do they just do patches/updates to the early access version once they have got some decent feedback??

Not interested in early access, I'm not beta testing and paying for the privilege.
Plus I'm a tight arse who will wait a few years to get games at their cheapest price.

Well said tbh
Thoughts on Cyberpunk Tyson as you were the biggest advocate for it?

Kinda depends on the game - I wouldn't bother doing EA on a RPG or story based game.
But on other more procedural type games (Mount & Blade and Slay The Spire come to mind) I was more than happy to be part of the journey.
I see EA as a form of pre-ordering, more so than "free beta testing". And given that it's indie devs that typically do EA, I'm normally happy to support financially.

Should never have been released on the older consoles.
Pushed back 6 months, polish polish polish and then release on the new gen.
Ah well, they got their money.

I'm cool with it. I played the game again last night for about 20 minutes, and frankly got a little bored of it. Since I'm playing it on PC, the bugs are pretty minimal, but I'm just finding the gameplay elements a little too repetitive for my liking.
