^ Agreed.  A continuation of the status quo with Tool.  Underwhelming comes to mind.  Everything about Tool at the moment is underwhelming.

I find it embarrassing when they "discuss" "esoterica". I thought BMB and Carey knew what they were talking about when I was younger, but now I just see them as self-important wankers who never really grew up.

O love will you read the letters I will send to you.

The Danny interview was very interesting. Even if it goes way over your head, you have to admit that what he is saying arouses some curiosity.

Yeah, I guess, if you're a fucking moron.

To be honest I'm surprised your expectations are still high.  It was an ok interview, not the best I've read, nor was it the worst.  Were you genuinely expecting it to be mindblowing?

Danny saying the epic track was completed/near completion? too much to ask? that's what I'm expecting in the March 2013 newsletter, minus Maynard of course. hopefully we don't hear that DC's in Hawaii, MJK's selling vacuums in Columbus Ohio,  AJ's at Monday Night Raw and JC's hunting pheasant in Lower Uncton.

Why would there be any expectation that an interview about the Opiate reissue would contain information about the new record?

didn't mean that. I should've first posted that Danny's interview was okay but then what I expect in the March newsleter is etc etc.

They are not.

No.  But out of all the Tool members Danny usually gives the most interesting interviews.  Wasn't much there.  On top of that, Danny tossed out some bullshit about the reason they chose 21 rather than 20, which Adam already admitted was because they simply didn't get around to it in time.  They really should talk to each other before doing interviews so as not to contradict each other.

Yeah, maybe.  But porn was so much harder to access.  I'll take less-cool people for unlimited and easy access to free porn.  Gotta give and take somewhere bro.

You're all too blind to see the most dedicated and precise expectations-lowering campaign in history. It's the only way to make sure the new album gets the proper appreciation.
