I cant stop coming back to The Remedy. Got a great hook with solid lyrics.

Galileo is right up there with it too.

A couple of surprises for me after listening to the 1 minute samples.

The Arsonist kinda disappointed, i dont know what i am missing in that one?

Autumn was a pleasant surprise, Love the melodies and the sadness in that song

Overall a solid album, with few disappointments.

I'm sure i will have alot of good hours spinning it in the future.

Same here with everything, except flip Money Shot & ComP. Though MS feels lacking somehow, I still enjoy it from start to finish, where as Conditions I have to skip around. V's the most 'complete' album they've released IMO.

Only song I can't get behind is Autumn. The beginning & end of the album both feel lacking in general. But all in all, this new one's a nice addition to they're catalogue.

Is he saying "What's the matter, Beavis?"

I'm really digging this album. I'm loving the proggy keyboard work in The Remedy. Very cool harmonies on Galileo. There are some pretty unique songs throughout this album that take quite a few listens to process.

They really brought the K•Y jelly on this album.

Nice and lubed up. I'd give it an 8.23/10

Also simultaneous reminds me of Major Douche on his local crystals.

Favorite tracks: Agostina, Simultaneous, Money Shot, The Arsonist, The Remedy
I agree with several of your points ... 'V' is my preferred record and I really like the 'C' EP ... I think everything else has gone steadily down hill. If you took the best from both COMP and this one, you'd have a decent album; maybe near a 7. I haven't entirely soaked this one in (2+ full listens + the singles) and I'm afraid I never might. There are several parts I found insufferable and uninspired. Grand Canyon is still nothing short of horrible. The vocal delivery in the chorus is everything majestic is not. Most songs are musically promising at the on set. I honestly find the vox in general to be the letdown throughout the majority which I never thought I'd say about Maynard. It's not so much the tone as it is I can't get behind some of the melodies. And my apologies to everyone loving it, but remedy is pretty bland and rhyming couplets of modernized 'hooker' insults aren't cutting it. It's also twice as long as it needs to be. It'd be better served as a 3 minute, wham, bam, thank you ma'am type track. 4/10 for how many songs I may consider not skipping on shuffle.

Off Topic
Tonight I listened to the 90's kiwi band "Headless Chickens" and was nonplussed at how similar they sounded to Puscifer. Specifically on this song Inside Track, so I made this side-by-side comparison video:::[BBvideo 560,340][/BBvideo]
"Can I get an Amen?"

The singing in the last minute sounds very May Jay-ish but other than that I didn't get much of a Puscifer vibe.

Well you can buy the Puscifer album on iTunes. I am going to only buy that Flippant song because that's not on the pre-ordered cd my wife bought. I have no clue why that song would only be for iTunes. Whateves'

"Flippant" sounds like a topic that May Jay will knock out of the ballpark. I can't fucking wait.

So listened to the full album again today on a long drive today. I bought the iTunes version with Flippant. That song really makes a great intermission for the album. I find Flippant really trippy and like I said it fits perfectly in the middle. Honestly really enjoy the whole album. I like the cannabis flower so that helps with really enjoying this album. Can't wait to hear it live in LA.

Alright you Maynard lovers, time for the MOG verdict....

The album is good. Yup, that's right, it ain't half bad. Oh I still hate that bald headed fucker with a passion, narcissistic cunt that he is, however, the album is good I cannot deny it. Moreover, ole Jimmy actually sounds good. Definitely a more consistent album than Conditions. More in line with C is for in terms of quality. V is for Vag is mostly garbage. Puscifer is hit or miss, but this album is mostly hit, so I give my seal of approval. As I said, Maynard can go fuck himself ten times over and I hate the fact that I actually just gave him money. I suppose I can quantify it in my head if I just imagine all the money going to Carina. Yeah, I can live with that.

Hahaha^. Carina is such a great addition and even my wife has a crush on Carina. I work out of my car so I have listened to Money Shot probably 5 times already. I really like every song but if I could say one that's not my favorite is Life of Brian. MOG if you ever get a chance to see Pusicifer live you should. Just do it for Carina if you need to justify it.
