2022 North America & Europe Tour

TOOL ANNOUNCE EXTENSIVE 2022 TOUR DATES FOR U.S. & EUROPE

TICKETS AVAILABLE THIS FRIDAY, OCT. 1

“Let’s finish what we started. Shall we?” – Maynard James Keenan

TOOL have announced a mammoth 2022 tour, with the Los Angeles-based band spending 3 months traversing the U.S. followed by a month of European dates.

TOOL elected to kick off the highly-anticipated trek in Eugene, Ore. as a nod to the abrupt halt to their 2020 Fear Inoculum tour. Slated to play the Matthew Knight Arena on March 12, 2020, the show, along with the band’s remaining tour dates, was canceled as nationwide lockdowns began to take effect that evening.

“It is with great pleasure I get to announce our return to the road,” said Danny Carey. “These past 18 months have been trying to say the least but from great trials come great lessons and great rewards. We are genuinely looking forward to sharing them with you.”

Tickets for all dates are on-sale this Friday, Oct. 1 at 10 am local time (UK and Irish dates are on-sale at 9 am local time). TOOLARMY members can purchase pre-sale tickets for European dates on Sept. 28 at 10 am local time (24 hour pre-sale window), while U.S. pre-sale tickets are available on Sept. 29 at 10 am local time (36 hour pre-sale window). Wanted to start an official tour thread to get all the show talk and whatever on the proper forum instead of everything defaulting to Random Tool Social Media. Hellboy please delete or move if you want.

Question regarding Pre-sale for TA members. I am a TA member, and i have my personal presale code. But what website does it work for? Ticketmaster? AXS? I cant find a place to enter the code as of yet, just lots of countdown clocks about the "next sale date".

Anyways, cant wait to hear drunk people yell "FUCKINNN TOOOOOOOOOOL MAN!!!!" all around me, and talk over 7empest.

ditto. this is actually the first time i am going to join the rush and try to buy right off the bat. previous concerts i just bought second hand on stubhub, and that worked out fine. Didnt over pay. Something like 90-120 USD per ticket a month before the show

99% positive the presale code is for the 4 presale tickets and as far as the packages go you just have to be logged into your TA account then follow the link when the time comes. I emailed the support and that's what I was told. Also if buying two different packages its seems like to two seats could be next to each other.
"Yes - you could purchase up to 4 presale tickets for one show in addition to packages for another. If you wanted to purchase two different level packages, you could do so and the seating would be in the same area."
All well Whatever, Nevermind

How hard is it to purchase some tickets from overseas and then scalp for exorbitant prices on stubhub?

Asking for a friend.

Edit:

What the fuck is up with that video

Sounds like a radio competition announcement

That sounds like an '80's movie trailer voice over.

Where did they dig that one up?

I can't believe it. I was able to get some pretty awesome side-view seats for Louisville two hours after pre-sale started. Let's go!

Can we start up a legitimate resale thread thing for these shows like we did previously? You know, for people who miss out and/or what to exchange tickets here WITHOUT going above prices etc.?

I hope that's okay folks.

EDIT: I'll just post in that main thread from last time; too easy!

I've got TWO extra floor tickets to the Sacramento show on January 15 if anyone here is genuinely interested in buying them at cost price. No bullshit, no agendas etc. Just my mate and I in a mad scramble for tickets both being lucky/successful managed to each purchase a pair of tickets so I'm selling mine & going with him.

They are Ticketmaster app seats: FLOOR 5 (centre)

As an bonus here, you might even have better access to Junior if he's at the mixing desk.

Send me a PM if you're seriously interested in going etc.

Cheers! :)

Any early predictions as to which 'deep cuts' / throwback songs 'the boys' will throw out there for us on this tour? We all know they've always got a few standard ones like Swamp Song, Part of Me, The Patient, Intolerance, Flood and maybe even Eulogy to call upon... but does anyone wanna go for a big swing and 'call out' the band a month before they start up again?

I'll be bold here with my two predictions and comment:

1. Jimmy

2. Lateralus

We NEED to finish live shows with the song Lateralus; it's their best 'closing' song! It's their best piece of art / music / experience etc. 👀😎🏆👍

Very bold indeed. I'll be pretty surprised if we see setlist that are much different from the last tour.
