No Euology again- was really hoping for it this time! Maynards voice was struggling compared to Rochester/Boston I thought. Lacklustre attempt at heavier sections in a few songs and pretty much gave up on a large section of Aenema. Sipping copious water and shaking his head a lot. Melodic sections were still awesome though. Fingers crossed for Montreal.

Considering Parabol/a is the second song in the set, if you need to go pee that fast you should probably consult your doctor.

I would wait until they got to "Urology" in the set list. But that's just me.

If only Maynard sang through his normal mic instead of the stupid megaphone i'd be fine. No effort in using a megaphone. Vicarious can't be that hard to sing normally, the megaphone obviously sounds worse so what's his reason?

I start drinking alcohol heavily about eight hours before a Tool show, so there's that.

Just pulled the trigger on a govball ticket. It's gonna rain. Hope they are rehearsing flood. Flood into the grudge is still the best opener of all time.

so now their A/B setlists are identical, just one song shorter? wtf is that all about

i'll give MJK a pass if he's sick otherwise that's too lazy for me to fully comprehend

gorge in just about 2 weeks. i've never been more apathetic going into a tool show given how this tour is starting off. just have to remember the majesty of that venue and maybe it will inspire them sufficiently.

One song shorter? What got cut from recent shows? I know Eulogy and Vicarious have been swapping recently...

They swapped it once and on a few occasions didn't play parabol.

I am attending back to back shows next week in Detroit and Chicago. I sure hope I can hear Eulogy one time. I need to cross it off my spreadsheet for songs I haven't seen live. (Obviously, I didn't realize how lucky I was to see Ticks and Leeches at my first show in Toledo).

Looks like Parabol was cut during the Boston festival, but has been played past couple shows since. Kind of a petty thing to bitch about.

I was at that show! Had to be in Toledo for work, found one single seat in a great spot in lower bowl about a week beforehand.

Was also at Toledo 12, parabol has been left off of the setlist 3 of the 6 shows. 1 of them being the festival show in Boston another in Maine outdoors and the 3rd in Hershey when they swapped Eulogy for Vicarious. Personally I'm not complaining about Parabol being left off. More so disappointed with the Eulogy situation.

Yep, 2012 Toledo was were I lost my Tool virginity. So I am very late to the game.....but haven't missed a mini tour since. Even the one-off's like St Paul and Tempe. My buddy, who took me Toledo, has 19 concerts under his belt and I damn determined to catch him (6 away). Can't wait for next week. Greatest hits or not... I see or feel something different every time I go....

That was my original plan as well but I can skip Detroit now... unless I can find a last-minute StubHub deal. I'm afraid Eulogy isn't coming back.

They'll play it again, I wouldn't sweat it. They always take a bit to really start working in something "new."

Although Jimmy and D/R/T were highly unlikely, it looks like I'll have to cross off Lateralus and Right in Two from my wish list as well. I'll still be thrilled if they play those remaining tracks though. Just hoping they don't cut their set short for the San Bernardino show.

Jambi
Opiate extended version
A/Descending
Forty-Six & 2
Lateralus
Right in Two
Jimmy
The Grudge
D/R/T

I imagine San Bernardino will have just the similar set, but would be nice to cross eulogy off my list as well! Hell throw in you lied with buzz and we'd be all good ;) :o

Just for the record...How much are the signed posters? I know the unsigned are $45. Gotta get this budget in line.
