Rage Against the Machine Announce Live at the Democratic National Convention 2000 Album

Recorded in the months before they broke up

In 2000, Rage Against the Machine performed across the street from the Democratic National Convention at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. They delivered a set that spanned hits from across their studio albums, including their final full-length Battle of Los Angeles, released only the previous year. Now, that performance is coming to vinyl. Live at the Democratic National Convention 2000 arrives April 21 as part of Record Store Day 2018. Check out the tracklist as well as video footage from the concert below.

Live at the Democratic National Convention 2000:

01 Bulls on Parade
02 Testify
03 Guerilla Radio
04 Sleep Now in the Fire
05 Freedom
06 Killing in the Name

haha I had a giggle at that when it popped up my feed the other day. Not bad for a band that's done nothing for how long now?

i had an awful mushroom trip the last time i saw Rage in 96. lol! i couldnt really enjoy the show but i still remember it sorta. shrooms arent for concerts and i already knew that but things happen. i wouldnt recommend doing that at a rage show :S it didnt help that they were really potent shrooms. what a night! :S

the toys are cheese considering they are no longer in forever. the shirt with their last names on it is tacky. they couldnt agree on anything so why ? the other 3 guys always worked together though, Zach seems to be the odd man out. when they need the money a reunion again ? hmm

prophets or rage is crap too. ''make america rage again'' ya,ok!

Steve’s a damn alcoholic. I’m glad you’re not letting him influence you bob. Wait, put the crown royal down!

Couldn't be stuffed finding link, work for it yourself but yeh RATM back together again for some shows in 'Merica (Fuck yeah). Fingers and toes crossed for some Aussie shows. This band doesn't know how to phone in a performance so have no doubt they'll still bring the goods.

Zach doesn't seem to be that much of a big spender, seems to only do things for artistic reasons other wise we'd have at the very least a few solo albums not eps over the past two decades.

Now that's a waste of talent.

to be fair, i guess i couldnt see Zach raging forever singing about politics and ranting about people being put in jail for the wrong reasons etc etc. for those that get a change to go they will love it so thats good i guess.

While who could blame a man for wanting to earn some cash where they aren't hurting anybody but instead providing substantial amounts of joy to many people?

But given he's never exactly been shy to voice his political opinion perhaps the current political climate is a reason behind this? When did you become so cyclical Bob? Is everything ok in Bobs world ?
