Fuck Tool but Lateralus is a special album. I wouldn't say it is the best of all time. Probably in the top 10 conversation. One of the greatest drumming performances on album ever I will give you that. Danny Carey is a fucking machine on that album.

I saw that graph last week.

As a bit of a wordsmith myself, I don't think it has a decent argument. Many a lyricist has been able to perform admirably with a small vocabulary.

Arguing that a larger word-base makes a good rapper (or lyricist) is missing the point.
