Eh. I'll admit that it's my favorite of their albums but it still only gets a 6/10 from me. They just aren't my thing. Just my two cents.

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

I'm off to see them in a couple of days time. It is a great album I think although the slowness of the second half particularly, surprised me. A real grower.

between both them and NIN, they've done a really good job of mixing up the setlists in OZ so far ... tossing in a really nice selection of their classic tunes ... nothing yet I haven't heard before (save for

), but quite looking forward to it

it just happened on this tour a few gigs ago ... It's the only thing so far confirmed in the sets I've not witnessed before and quite honestly, I hope it doesn't happen at Friday's gig either

shut up ... HM blows ... underwhelming does not begin to describe this record ... at least when he realised the slip was subpar, he gave that away for free

anticipating that the live performances might actually give some of this bland collection of tracks some life

Yet it appears from reading above that you are actually going to see this one. Good I look forward to your review. I have no doubt all tracks performed live will be given a lift. I first listened to this album in a car full of people who had no appreciation for it whatsoever and just the mere fact that I had put it on filled them with trepidation. I sat there thinking this is really quite gentle they should get into it, but no, they all found it too hard and alternative. I do really love it. I play QOTSA at home more than just about anything else at times and this album has become a favourite.

I'm talking about Like Clockwork and yes Hesitation Marks does suck I hope NIN play none of it.

We were in the QOTSA thread so I chose to address the correct band. :)

CRAP ... THINK I MIXED UP THE QUEENS AND NIN THREADS CONSIDERING THEY'RE BOTH COVERING THE SAME TOPIC AT THE MOMENT ... NEW QUEENS IS ALRIGHT ... NEW NIN IS THE PITS ... SHOULD BE A GOOD SHOW REGARDLESS ... THEY ARE HIGH QUALITY LIVE ACTS WITH DEEP CATALOGS

Wow.

Convincing argument.

That shit was hilarious. Portlandia is sofa king random. It's jam packed with details like The Simpsons.

The Dan Savage gag was great too.
