Fourtheye Member's Projects

Post by joeypants »

Is there a place designated yet for member's projects? Anyway... my band just completed our first EP so figured I'd share it here. We're still very much finding our way musically, and the newer stuff we're writing is already fairly different from this. But nonetheless, it's the first batch of jams that we coalesced into something we felt was worth recording. Enjoy... or don't. Hope you do though.

I'm not getting audio dude or is there a long silence at the start?

There's a lot of low end "rumble" at the start so it you're on laptop speakers or something it might sound like silence. Only like 12 seconds worth or so, then you should at least be hearing the guitar swells.

Not able to complete listening tonight, but I'm very much enjoying it so far!

EDIT: Stayed up to finish it after all, I really like it and am going to buy it tomorrow morning. I will say, it rings of various prog influences, but stands on its own. Thank you for sharing, great birthday present! Hoping you guys will continue to create and share, I think you have a firm foundation here. Cheers!

I'm nearly through the second song (love the song titles btw - I'm corny like that) and I would definitely go see you live given the opportunity.  A double bill with Joey's band would be awesome.  Well done the both of yas.

More thoughts after I get all the way through it.

Keep us posted.

Transmute motherfuckers.  Learn.  Respect.  When Joey starts making all that cash money he better give all his boys back stage passes.  I expect sluts, alcohol, hash and more sluts.  Now get crackin and make us proud.

Norway

Damn! Was hoping you were stateside. Well... if you're ever over here or we make it to Norway we'd love to trade shows! Haha.

Seriously, you guys are really good. Reminds me of many bands that I really like, although also totally its own thing. Is this your first album/EP?

Ah (regarding the line up). Two guitars? You all are doing some cool FX work then. I dig the synth-style undertones there.

Also, thanks again for the kind words, Mog. You should try to catch us at one of our smaller shows while we can still distribute magical cookies to attendees! Wait... I didn't say that. That never happened.

Been working on something for a while now... I guess it's finally time to share my art with my FE brethren. Let me know what you think...
