Horse blinders at one his shows would be so kick ass!

And horse earplugs too.

That would be the only way to experience him live, and I mean the only way.

I would have it no other way.

Only the best for me.

hmmmm ... consists of heavily pretentious music fan opinion and unnecessary overuse of vocabulary ... was this written by a certain fourtheye member perhaps?

also, it's quite likely that we got Rage, Deftones, and DEP, among others from some level of FNM inspiration but that wasn't mentioned ... good with the bad

Dude you don't get it. Rage, Deftones, DEP - they're all as shit as Korn and Limp Bizkit.

Wow!! So Mosley was a better front man than Patton ai?? All these years I had it wrong..

This article has inspired me to put on introduce yourself for the first time in a long time & has only cemented what a terrible vocalist Chuck was..

Looking back though, I wonder how much Patton did all this shit in tongue in cheek.

Especially the first album.

No hate for the next albums.

I think pattons influence on the band is clear to see on angel dust onwards. I still dig the shit out of 'some' of the real thing, but angel dust is where the band hits their strides for mine.

I quite like the Chuck era-Faith No More. I prefer the work with Patton, but Introduce Yourself and We Care A Lot are still great albums. FNM were pretty much a different band Angel Dust onwards.

I dig most of it musically, but was never able to get into Chucks voice at all, so I very rarely listen to the albums. This version though I could listen to all day..

Ipecac Recordings Webmaster

Got questions? We might have answers!

We've been receiving a lot of questions recently and we haven't had an opportunity to talk directly to our fans in a while, so in celebration of our 15th anniversary we're planning on doing an AMA on Reddit on April 1st at 2:00PM PDT. We're trying to get everything set up now and we'll post the link to Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ as soon as it's live.
April 1st, sure.
Actually, I think they are being sincere.

Just downloaded a rip of the new Tomahawk M.E.A.T single. Barely even worth the effort.

Time for FNM or Fantomas to do something.

There's an album or so's worth of Mondo Cane material not released yet, some of which they've played live ... I'd happily take that, as well

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Mondo Cane is ok I guess, but I hardly ever listen to that album to be honest. A new one really doesn't excite me much at all.

Not sure what this means, but it kinda gives me a boner (from a new, and official Faith No More Twitter account):

I'd cut off Joey's other nut for a new FNM album.

I'd imagine Jon Hudson would be on guitar. But You never know, Mike and Trey seem to be on good terms at the moment.

I'm out then.

My favourite FNM album has nothing to do with Spruance, but still. He's been a part of every BUNGLESCAPADE ever, so fuck yeah.

I love Trey Spruance. He's lovely.
