Fort anyone interested, JB Hifi has signed copies of the new Tomahawk album available for pre-order for $19.99 (plus postage).  They also have vinyl for $24.99 (not signed unfortunately), which seems pretty cheap as well.

Oddfellows - Signed CD

Oddfellows - Vinyl

It's also on Amazon as well for non-Aussies who feel like throwing Fourtheye a few referral cents

Purchased, I wonder if it was hand signed cause that's going to be a lot of copies and for only $20?

Makes no sense.

Yeah, seems strange.  From a quick Google search, no one else seems to be offering them either so not sure how JB ended up with a stack of them.

Anyway, album has leaked and I'm listening right now...

A little disappointing to be honest.  Hope it's something that improves on further listens, as on first listen the second half of the album didn't do much for me.

I had a listen to the snippets on Amazon and must confess they did absolutely NOTHING for me. Not even to the point where I was mildly engaged.

I agree with Hellboy. I wasn't impressed after my first listen. Gonna spin it again right now though, see what happens.

Mike Patton has a face that screams out:

"Hello schoolchild! I'm going to abduct you!""

That picture with the goat/ unicorn thing was from the Dallas show on Halloween night. You could see him from anywhere in the venue and Patton kept pointing him out then brought him on stage for an entire song during the encore. I met Duane that night waiting after the show but it took forever for Patton and the others to come out so I ended up leaving before they did.

I like Oddfellows better than Anonymous. I Don't even have anonymous in my library. "I Can Almost See Them" is cool.

I've been listening to "Oddfellows" non stop. Can't believe some of you don't like it. I'll admit it took me a few listens to really start appreciating it but just like every one of their previous albums I absolutely love it now! I'm a big fan of Anonymous too, and that one took forever to get into! Really hope they do another tour in support of this and have another Dallas, or even TX date.

I wouldn't say it's a terrible album, just not up to the lofty standards set by the other three.  I think I'd give it a 6/10.

I can get down with that assessment... just not a very good tomahawk album... still better than the cosby's maynie keeps dropping at the pool

Oof. Could not get into this AT ALL. Blind bought it and everything because I've really enjoyed their other stuff.

Starting to enjoy the new album. I need to check out previous Tomahawk as I've never really bothered with them before. I will give that awful Anonymous album a wide berth though.

Good to hear Mike singing Faith No More style again.
