Yeah. You're taking a big risk posting a progressive rock album from one of the most influential and respected bands of all time in a TOOL forum. What balls you have.

I've never listened to Yes before, so looking forward to giving this a shot, and then Mog's criticism of my review...

It's kind of hard to not like YES, particularly from a TOOL fanboi perspective. I think we're all be in mutual appreciation.

Close to the Edge FTW! Heard Yes for the first time in the family car since I was 7. Good stuff..

This would have been a better promotion clip for Yes, but whatever....anything Yes is much appreciated.

I was honest-to-God thinking of doing that as my album next week. No fucking joke at all.

We'll see I suppose.  I'm actually not a huge prog fan, I can't stand Rush for instance.  Still, i will go in with an open mind and hope that the vocals are as obnoxious as most prog bands.

Gotta say, that is a kick arse disc.  I am partial to Tales From Topographic Oceans.

Great choice Budsy, but I have heard this literally hundreds of times...

Relayer is a jam from start to finish.  Amazing writing and musicianship.  Some will not be able to get past Jon Anderson's voice, but they are missing out.  But caution, like King Crimson, Yes underwent MANY personnel and genre changes over the years... some of the later material is heinous.

Great album. Fragile, Tales From Topographic Oceans, The Yes Album, etc etc. They don't get enough credit.

That's from Tormato, which I love.  Going for the One is another excellent disc.  Of the later period, there are a few great songs here and there, but mostly crap...  Although I have to admit, I do dig most of Drama.Â
