I think you and I have similar tastes in music, but brotha, this one surprised me in not a good way.

It's not terrible but it's not good either. It commits a crime that is literally worse than the Holocaust, it sounds very generic. The music isn't bad, but its forgettable. The singer at times sounded like both the Nikelback guy and the Slipknot dude (when he isn't being all screamy of course). Those are not compliments. (Cause I know how much folks around here love them N-back fellows)

I guess we aren't a %100 match after all, but I still love ya.

I couldn't get past the second song. The vocals are awful and the music boring as hell.

Eh, this was more of a "Fuck it, it's on Bandcamp and we haven't had an AOTW in a few weeks," pick rather than a "Holy shit, this album is amazing and everybody needs to listen to it," pick. I'm not really that attached to this album.

The vocals never really worked for me either, but I have heard way more generic music than this. Then again I have dug around in the metal section of Bandcamp and that has probably skewed my idea of "Generic" music.

Anyways I just figured I throw out an album, try to keep this thing alive, but it doesn't seem to have much life anymore.

Probably should've just given it a 5-Hour Energy.

There was an AOTW last week. I was the only one who bothered to review it. The couple before that did just fine though.

I thought that was 2 weeks ago?

Edit:

But that was posted 3 weeks after the last AOTW and only got like 3 replies.

You know what, fuck it I'm changing my pick. If I'm going to put up a terrible album it's going to be a terrible album I can actually stand behind.

So here it is:

A Crimson Cosmos by Lake of Tears. Not a particularly good album, I'll admit, but it is goofy as all hell and I kinda love it.

No problem. It's a shame cause it's a good album.

If you're talking about that Clipse album.... I listened but didn't rate or comment. I'll do it now.

Also kind of generic but it has enough wackiness to offset that. Music almost makes me wanna shake my leg but I also forgot it pretty quickly. Singer straddles (giggity) the line between decent and cookie cutter.

"Like" is too strong and "dislike" is too harsh.
