Album of the Week: Purson-The Circle and the Blue Door

Ok so I'll jump in since no one seems to want to take a turn. A girl in one of my classes asked me to listen to this album and at first I thought it was ok. After a couple more listens it has grown on me and I thought I'd throw it out to you guys so it can get torn apart, or perhaps maybe one or two of you might like it. I don't think it's anything mind blowing or anything, but I don't expect every album to do that for me. It's cheesy sounding at times, but in a fun way, for me at least.

I listened to this album not long ago while getting ready for the best of 2013 list. It didn't really do much for me to be honest.

I think the reality is that no one is really listening to new music suggested by the Album of the Week crew. People are too busy I presume.

I listened to it last week but forgot to post a response.

My response is that it was ok. Nothing really jumped out at me as exceptional but it wasn't horrible either.

Ok cool. Re-reading my post it might sound a little whiny so thanks for not taking it that way. I was just legit curious.

I'd prefer people saying it sucks than it getting no listens.
