These guys played with Fiona Apple for a while.

I've been listening to a lot of heavy music lately so this was like a breath of fresh air. Soft but not too soft emotional but not corny. While not breaking any new ground, the band is excellent at what they do. I also really liked both singers.

Nice pick.

7.5/10

These guys just announced they will be touring this spring/summer. Might catch their Chicago show.

Anything with Nickel in the name probably isn't all that good and after a listen, that seems to be true.

I listened to this band quite often as a kid! I prefer their self-titled album over Why Should The Fire Die, however--admittedly, this is probably due to my listening to their self-titled one a lot with my father, and I tie some very fond memories to it. Beautiful music on both albums, I am glad to see their music represented here.

PIG is so criminally under-rated that it almost makes me want to cut myself.

One of my favourite songs of all time is Doubting Thomas

I can't listen to this without welling up at best.

I'm a doubting Thomas

I can't keep my promises

Because I don't know whats safe

Oh me of little faith

I want that on my grave stone:

I really didn't enjoy that, and I like some pretty downright faggy music.

If today was not an endless highway
If tonight was not a crooked trail
If tomorrow wasn't such a long time
Then lonesome would mean nothing to me at all

Yes, and only if my own true love was waiting
If I could hear his heart softly pounding
Yes, and only if he was lying by me
Would I lie in my bed once again

I can't see my reflection in the waters
I can't speak the sounds that show no pain
I can't hear the echo of my footsteps
Or remember the sound of my own name

Yes, and only if my own true love was waiting
If I could hear his heart softly pounding
Yes, and only if he was lying by me
Would I lie in my bed once again

There's beauty in that silver singing river
There's beauty in that sunrise in the sky
But none of these and nothing else can touch the beauty
That I remember in my true love's eyes

Yes, and only if my own true love was waiting
If I could hear his heart softly pounding
Yes, and only if he was lying by me
Would I lie in my bed once again

I'm going to go get drunk, watch "CALIFORNICATION", and dream about being a successful writer.

I've had it with this week.

Please remember, the week wears no fault here ... Also, great show. The writing for Hank's dialogue is fantastic ... One of my all-time favorite TV characters
