^I enjoyed The Man of Steel. There were things I didn't like about it, but I still enjoyed it. I anticipate having a similar reaction to BvS, but all I keep thinking after seeing the trailers is...

I liked the shots of Bruce Wayne running into the dust of the collapsing building.

And the few shots of the battles looked like fun.

Yeah, I agree. I think the action scenes are going to be great, and I'm really hoping the Lex Luther character brings some levity to it all.

I didn't think much of the trailer to be honest. It kinda made Bruce Wayne look out of character I thought.

Suicide Squad trailer looks much better I thought.

Every movie they mentioned in that article has been released. It's old. And clearly they were wrong. They were talking down guardians of the galaxy cause it sounded so farfetched... but we have seen it more and it's great. Sane with the xmen movie they make fun of about the brain. It's a good movie. That article is old and wrong.

Yeah. It's completely wrong.

Superhero movies are awesome.

Superhero movies, like every other genre ever, are hit and miss.

True. For every Iron Man there's a Green Lantern. But as the article states (regardless of how old it may be) the trend must burn out sooner or later.

Look how "stale" the found footage genre is now.

The trend will die out, and it will be resurrected once more.

The question is - why do you want the trend to die?

Complete over saturation. And film-makers in general are finding it difficult to get their ideas green lit unless they somehow appeal to the lowest common denominator comic book reading popcorn crowd.

It's the dumbing down of cinema. We're breeding a generation of film goers who will only bother with seeing a film as long as there's some "super hero" or "whizz bang" element. I liken it to to the hair metal phase of the late 80's.

And yes, I do realise we've had super hero films for ages - but never to this extent.

The good thing that will come of this is that films of integrity and quality will be pushed further and further underground - until finally one will break ranks and sets the world on fire, setting a new standard for all to follow.

Just look at what happened in the early 90's with underground / art rock....

I don't think film goers are any dumber than they have been for the last 30+ years. It's not like blockbusters are a new thing. At the moment it's comic based movies rather than Arnie running around with in a leather jacket and machine gun. In 10 years time it'll probably be remakes Singles and other shitty 90s flicks.

.......not to keep going on about it but the way it's being put together by JJ is...well...beautiful. I have to say, the guy knows how to direct and he's doing (seemingly) a beautiful job. just a side note but does anyone else think that Daisy Ridley is a babe besides me? total hottie. I hope she can act her ass off because I think at the very least, Episode VII is her movie. make or break. anyone else getting that feeling?

it took this trailer to peak my interest. I have to say, I'm on board for this too lol. Zack Snyder is one of the best action/adventure directors out there and this looks very solid so far. Affleck is excellent director so the stand alone Batman should be in good hands as well. Marvel has some competition finally.

Much in the tradition of classic movies of 1920’s Hollywood, the film is mostly silent but instead of a lone piano a live rock band of rock express the emotions and action whilst special effects from the film explode to life all around the audience.

Think of a deafening rock ‘n’ roll version of Secret Cinema taking place in hell and you might just begin to have an idea of what Gutterdämmerung is.
This spectacular film will tour with it’s live band and a live narrator at the end of 2015 / early 2016.

IGGY POP, GRACE JONES + HENRY ROLLINS ARE IN THIS BATSHIT INSANE SILENT MOVIE
Iggy Pop, Grace Jones, Henry Rollins and Eagles of Death Metal’s, Jesse Hughes, to star in forthcoming immersive, silent cinematic experience, Gutterdämmerung
