Well, this game started great, but ended up being pure frustration. 75% possession, and yet the best Japan could manage is four shots on target.

I expected a lot more. Greece went thuggish and bitchy pretty quickly, too.

No way Costa Rica beats Italy. The Italians are far too defensively sound. Pirlo will pick them apart in the midfield and with Balotelli on good form I don't see the Italians losing.

That's quite possible. Tonight we will find out if they are the real deal. Costa Rica is no cake walk though, they are young but hungry! Balotelli is in freakish form right now which could be the decider just as Suarez was last night. I'll stick with my first choice

I am intimately familiar with the skill level of these players and teams. There is NO FUCKING WAY Costa Rica has the talent to beat Italy. Keep in mind this is a Costa Rican team that finished BEHIND THE UNITED FUCKING STATES in CONCACAF qualifying. The Italians are more talented at every position. Too many games have felt really fucking off. Something doesn't feel right at all. Too many of these results do not make sense.

Lol are you serious man? Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit. Any proper sports fan knows that any team can win any given day. Stop making excuses for the "powerhouses". They are simply just getting beat. Is it that hard to fathom? These are men playing against men. This shit happens. You should be appreciating the beautiful playing that has been happening at this World Cup, and accept it as it is. I gotta agree with the 'Hole on this one.

Blame it on questionable ref calls if you want, but that's human error, not a fix. FIFA must get better at making the RIGHT calls and not letting it change critical games, but this is true with all sports to a certain extent. Especially WWF. LOL.
