So you didn't see Song from Cameroon get carded? Totally gratuitous. Mentioned it earlier. Google it.The Boss wrote:Greece just got a red. Is that the first for this World Cup?
I don't mind a lot of passion in a team, but going for studs-up slides and getting thuggish is a bit much.

First captain in this World Cup to get carded.
Well, this game started great, but ended up being pure frustration. 75% possession, and yet the best Japan could manage is four shots on target.
I expected a lot more. Greece went thuggish and bitchy pretty quickly, too.
Not the best game of the Cup by the end, but still worth watching.
O love will you read the letters I will send to you.

There have been 4 red cards. One of them being a 2nd yellow.

Uruguay needs to change their style, the moment they get in the lead they drop to far back, this way the opponent gets more chance to equalize.
Will Italy beat Costa Rica? If yes, England still has a chance.

I think Costa Rica has a great chance of beating Italy. The way this tournament has been going, anything can happen. I'm rooting for the Costa Ricans.ms2r wrote:Uruguay needs to change their style, the moment they get in the lead they drop to far back, this way the opponent gets more chance to equalize.

You are correct about Uruguay. They need to keep the pressure on their opponents, even with a lead. Suarez is very dangerous, fantastic player.
Another good night of games ahead.

Ben Williams doing the Eq and Hon game tomorrow.
First time we'll see a referee murdered on the world stage.
And I couldn't be more excited.
The blood-lust I have to see this guy eat an entire sack of cock before dying bloodily would make you freak the fuck out.

No way Costa Rica beats Italy. The Italians are far too defensively sound. Pirlo will pick them apart in the midfield and with Balotelli on good form I don't see the Italians losing.BlackHole83 wrote:I think Costa Rica has a great chance of beating Italy. That's quite possible. Tonight we will find out if they are the real deal. Costa Rica is no cake walk though, they are young but hungry! Balotelli is in freakish form right now which could be the decider just as Suarez was last night. I'll stick with my first choiceM0G wrote:No way Costa Rica beats Italy. Costa Rica are playing dangerously. They need to push for a second and not make the mistake Uruguay did yesterday. Balotelli will only blow so many chances.
Re: FIFA World Cup, 2014 Thread . . .
Holy Shit. CR are playing so fucking well. That passing sequence around min 64 was like a clinic.

I am legitimately starting to think this World Cup is fixed. I follow every major domestic league, champions league, south american leagues, europa cup, etc etc. I watch football all the time. I am intimately familiar with the skill level of these players and teams. There is NO FUCKING WAY Costa Rica has the talent to beat Italy. Keep in mind this is a Costa Rican team that finished BEHIND THE UNITED FUCKING STATES in CONCACAF qualifying. The Italians are more talented at every position. Too many games have felt really fucking off. Something doesn't feel right at all. Too many of these results do not make sense.

Lol are you serious man? Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit. Any proper sports fan knows that any team can win any given day. Stop making excuses for the "powerhouses". They are simply just getting beat. Is it that hard to fathom? These are men playing against men. This shit happens. You should be appreciating the beautiful playing that has been happening at this World Cup, and accept it as it is. The ref made plenty of favorable calls for the Italians and they still got a beat down. Holy fuck manM0G wrote:I am legitimately starting to think this World Cup is fixed. I gotta agree with the 'Hole on this one.
Blame it on questionable ref calls if you want, but that's human error, not a fix. FIFA must get better at making the RIGHT calls and not letting it change critical games, but this is true with all sports to a certain extent. Especially WWF. LOL.
