Kershaw is fucking killing it right now. He in no doubt is the best lefty in the game. You have to admire what he is doing at the moment, no matter what team you root for

Oh no I don't!
:P

He's 30+ innings behind most everyone else, though, which puts him at 93rd in the Majors on the list for that category.
Nothing against him or anything...I just dig the Sortable Stats on MLB.com. It will tell you everything....it'll tell you what pitcher has
hit the most batsmen (Charlie Morton, Pittsburgh Pirates. Apparently Charlie has 'control' problems. Sorry, Charlie.)
Good stuff.

I'm listening to the Kansas City TV announcers while enjoying the game
between Detroit and KC and a beer and my time. These guys are unreal.
They are just the worst fucks, so full of them selves, asking waitresses
to get them green tea, on the air, on camera, because he's special and his wife
doesn't allow him to drink soft drinks.

It was inevitable. They have so many injuries that half the team should be in the minors.

Yea...that happens, and not just baseball.
Like in hockey, injuries will happen to everyone and every team
but there are times when it just seems the Universe HATES your team
and everyone goes down with serious injuries that take forever to rehab.

Speaking of injuries...news and notes from The Detroit News...

Injured Texas Ranger catcher Geovany Soto is free on bond after a Wednesday night arrest for possession of marijuana under two ounces, police said.

Soto, 31, was stopped about 10 p.m. by a patrol officer who found the illegal substance inside his vehicle, said Grapevine, Texas police spokesman said.

Soto posted a $500 bond Thursday morning.

The case has been turned over to the district attorney's office.

"I am embarrassed (I ask...Why? Fuck it dude, it's just weed...) and would like to apologize to my family, the Rangers organization, and our fans that I was taken in on this charge," Soto said in a written statement released by the Rangers.

In the statement, the Rangers said they have notified Major League Baseball. Marijuana is a "drug of abuse" under the baseball's Joint Drug Agreement, but players are not tested for it.

Players found using or suspected of using marijuana will be referred to a treatment board, which will determine if a treatment program is necessary.

"We have spoken to Geovany, and he has apologized and expressed deep embarrassment for the situation," the club said in its statement.

Soto had been transferred to Frisco to continue his injury rehabilitation assignment. Soto, who has been on the disabled list all season after surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee, began the assignment July 4 at Triple-A Round Rock.

He batted .245 with nine home runs and 22 RBIs in 2013.

Tigers bolstered their bullpen by
adding Soria from RP's Rangers.
You got two good prospects though so win win.

Yea I'm ok with the trade. I'm actually really happy for it this season but ok with it for next.

The Rangers should be back to at least being in the hunt and having a closer like Soria would be nice. Who knows maybe Feliz can regain his old form.
