Rory is beasting. it looks like the Montreal PPV at the end of the year will go something like this: Hendricks vs Lawlor/Brown and Rory vs Lombard/Stun Gun. god damn the Welterweight division is a murderers row of savages. wait until Condit and GSP come back from injuries in 2015.

We all see what we want to see. I see a violent competition in it's truest form and you see gay sex. when you go for a walkabout do you see female kangaroo's and think "mmmm free pussy" or do you see an odd and beautiful animal?

Good to see Condit set on returning. Let's hope he can recover and come back full speed.

I'm still trying to embrace the female fighters NY. They are skilful and train just as hard as the men. I respect what they are doing for women in the sport, and will probably put me on my ass but I personally cannot get into it. It's like watching women's NCAA or WNBA. I'm not sexist by any means, it just has not grabbed ahold of me other than the obvious.

Ronda sold me back in Strikeforce, so it's nothing new for me. I'm a big fan of MMA no matter who is in the octogon. she's one of the top athletes in the world. plus I love Miesha's heart..... and her big beautiful ass. lol

Cool. I knew a couple of chicks in the Corps who could fucken throw down. Always training, always in the gym, eating right. I always had mad respect for them. Not sure if they pursued MMA once they got out. But it is still a growing sport and more and more chicks are getting into it. The wifey loves to watch the females fight, so even though I'm not that into it I still watch.

BTW Machida or Weidman?

Faber and Caceres looks to be a battle. I think this fight got demoted to prelims? Not sure how that will affect us here in Oz if the fights are all on different channels. I'll leave it up to the pub to organise.

Rousey will dominate with her Judo yet again. To be honest I haven't seen much of Davis

that has to be a glitch. why the fuck would they demote the Faber fight? that's silly. I feel bad for you guys if you can't get it on Fox Sports 1. I've got Weidman in a decision, he's a local guy. speaking of wifey, him and his entire family are very close with her family so she's actually been watching him fight longer than I have lol. which is pretty cool actually. Chris' striking has always been underrated although I do give Machida the edge there. one things certain, if Lyoto can't stuff the takedowns?! than look out. I mean before Silva's leg came apart he was getting POUNDED on the ground.

I got Ronda finishing the fight via TKO, which might surprise some people.

Faber over Caceres by submission.

Mitrione and Struve? I'm a huge NY Giant fan so being we signed Matty boy out of college I have a place in my heart for him. one things for sure that fight is NOT going 3 rounds. him and Stefan knock heavyweights the fuck out. Mitrione's striking coach is one of the best in the world, Mr. Duke Roufus was on the podcast a day or two ago (link below).

then in less than 24 hours after you have the Jersey Boy Frankie Edgar vs the legend BJ Penn. which should be 5 rounds of non-stop action live on Fox. I actually think BJ can win a close decision, he's very focused. but Frankie's a beast, so who the fuck knows. I never put $ on the UFC but if I did I'd stay the fuck away from this one. it's too close to call.

besides recently earning a black belt in Brazilian Jujitsu (under Gracie family tree, master Jean Jacques Machado) he was winning taekwondo tournaments at the age of 20. here he shows legendary kickboxer (and UFC Champion Anthony Pettis' striking coach) Duke Roufus an old technique which a lot of fighters have started to utilize now.

#PowerfulRogan.

^ yeah lots of fans are not aware of his past achievements. He is a beast himself. I knew he was brown belt but he must've recently earned his black. Good shit, it's good to see more and more dudes train well into their 40s and stay fit. His gym is fucking dope.

yeah his gym is sick as fuck. from his Wiki:

During high school, Rogan was a practitioner of Taekwondo and gained a black belt at age 15.[35] He soon became the Massachusetts full contact Tae Kwon Do champion four consecutive years. By the age of 19, Rogan won the US Open Tae Kwon Do Championship and as lightweight champion went on to beat both the middle and heavyweight title-holders to obtain the Grand Championship.[36] He started judo at the age of 20 and after a year of training received blue belt.[37] In 1996, Rogan began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlson Gracie at his school in Hollywood, California.[38] He is a black belt in Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, a style of no-gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu,[39] and a black belt in gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Jean Jacques Machado.[40] His record as a kickboxer is 2-1.[41]

so he has three black belts in 2 separate martial arts.

UFC Fight Night 43 in Auckland was great! the crowd was AWESOME. a bunch of Kiwi and Australian rugby and soccer stars were there. quite the roudy bunch. the first fight, Whittaker vs Rhodes was arguably one of the best fights of 2014. Oliveira vs Hioki was very entertaining and ended in a choke. Palelei got BODIED by some dude I've never heard of before out of Hendricks camp. Nate the Great popped Te Huna's arm in front of his home crowd right at the end of the first round and then said that Jesus told him to fight at 185 lol.

UFC Fight Night 44 was quite disappointing actually. 6 for 6 in decisions, which isn't the reason why, it was just boring. I though the Cub Swanson fight with Jeremy Stephens was going to be a barn burner. it was more of a yawn fest.

good news is there are TWO sick shows this weekend. UFC 175 of course but the very next day is B.J. vs Frankie. Hawaii vs Jersey.
