Anyone on or over that sort of dosh has plenty of options to reduce their taxable income and receive the credits.

Investment property there, salary sacrifice into super here and a dash of creative accounting and bobs your uncle.

Imagine the uproar if I'd made that statement, only I'd replaced "Jews" with "Aboriginals" and "money" with "meth".

But nah, carry on.

There are bushfires raging across Victoria and NSW and you use the opportunity to take potshots at the Liberals.

Talk about "gutless cunts". Just when I thought you couldn't sink any fucking lower...

Where are The Greens in all this, may I ask?? The 'great environmentalists'?

Don't see them down on the front lines do you??

Now go back to yr six pack....

Yes, the fires directly affecting my community and I am directing my anger at the lack of action of our Prime Minister, who happens to be a liberal, as you pointed out.

Why would you? They aren't the elected party to lead the nation nor the states. The don't have any thing to do with policies enacted by these governments. Why are you mentioning the Greens?

It always helps to have someone to direct your anger at. He is performing a needed community service.

I've never understood the need to have pollies on the front line. I'd prefer they do their actual job in the first place.

Scummo has done a pretty fucking lousy job so far.

I've lived through enough natural disasters to see when a PM has missed their mark as leader of our nation by a fucking mile.

Take off the blinkers.

I'm not going to be an apologist for him. Yes indeed he has not played, and dont ever doubt its what they all to, this catastrophe to his advantage. he has made several political and leadership missteps.

I don't need to see any more trashy news stories though about devastated emotional people name calling and telling us who they vote for. Its just so unhelpful.

For what it's worth I hate left and right sides equally so is without bias , but to me he hasn't shown great leadership qualities these last few months.

But on the other side of the token the constant online bashing and agenda pushing is also getting pretty damn old.

Anyone not directly impacted by these fires that has criticized the leadership without adding a donation or doing something is adding nothing positive to the situation.

Agree 100%, media should be putting pressure on the PM in regards to his climate policies, not showing emotional people getting stuck into Scummo.

Unfortunately they seem entirely unwilling to do so, which I'm sure has nothing to do with those who wield the power behind the scenes in both the media and the Liberal party.

The Royal Commission into the 2009 bushfires in Victoria came up with recommendations that the amount of back burning in Victorian rural regions be quadrupled.

Unfortunately Labor in this state kowtow to the putrid Greens on such matters and this has not been carried out. In fact, individuals in rural areas have faced fines of up to $150,000 for clearing their land of undergrowth.

Heads should but probably won't roll for this. Because Victoria.
