Really hope they play Jimmy tonight since it was played at one of the rehearsals. Other songs I wish they would sneak in would be H, Eulogy, Reflection, Triad, and The Patient.

Just got home from the show

I have the setlist as follows:

No Quarter
The Grudge
Parabol / Parabola
Schism
Opiate (with a middle extended interlude)
Aenima
2 minute band jam
Jambi
46 & 2
12 minute timed intermission
Sweat
Stinkfist

First time I've been to a show without knowing the setlist. Thus I was surprised and pretty happy with it.
My favorite, Lateralus, was left off; but oh well you can't win them all.
Mids were mixed far too high, thus drowning out Maynard and the higher cymbals.
Overall score for sound quality 2.5/5

Signed prints $150 (Both Tool and Primus)
Unsigned were $45 (Both Tool and Primus)
Previous nights shows (Tulsa and San Antonio) were being sold unsigned for $30 each
Some of the print Mafia stuff from 2007 being sold for $30 each
Shirts were all $45
Signed/doodled bass drum head from previous nights Tulsa, OK show for $1600.

Nifty bandana for $15 - bought it for the hell of it as I don't have one for my collection.

Overall it was a good setlist IMO and I told my wife (who bought my ticket for me for Chirstmas) that it was worth the raping she took on StubHub.

That said,

I have the following up for sale/trade if there is any interest:
I was perhaps one of the very few who was not VIP that figured out a way to get these all out to my truck well before the show.
They haven't been rolled yet and are in NM condition.

Would love to trade the Tool print from tonight for one of those sweet San Francisco Bill Graham prints. Any takers?

Damn it what the hell? I went to 3 different merch stands after the show and they didn't have any posters here in SA.

After the show might be key. They roll over prints from previous nights. Once they sell, they are gone. SA print was sold out tonight before Tool even came on.

I was the guy who took his six year old son for his first big rock show, and what an awesome show it was!

Did he ask, "What's that funny smell daddy, and why do I feel weird?"... 8-)

That being said he must've loved the visual stuff if not at least the music.

Hahaha, the scent of reefer was strong in our section. He just said "I think I smell someone smoking" and had his nose pinched. It didn't effect him though.

He was a little antsy at times, but there were moments when he would rock the fuck out. It was pretty funny when he would throw up the horns and start head banging.

He may not understand it now, but someday he'll look back on that and realize what a badass experience/opportunity it was.

Yeah talk about it. Definitely saw the woman with her infant, yes infant, at the show in a seat. No sign of ear protection. WTF guys...

On a side note, I'm sure the show was audio recorded but I won't have access to any site that it may be posted on.
Anyone here have access to the recording that they can ftp to me?

I did take some ear plugs, but he didn't wear them. Wow, an infant at the show? I didn't see that, but that is insane.

Here my guy was doing some pre-show head banging, haha

Yo, I audio taped it. Think this was the 4th time taping Tool at Nokia Theatre (it will always be Nokia Theatre to me, sorry). I was way up in the 400's, smashed up against the wall for this one. I won't complain, because I got in, but at the moment, I am not 100% pleased with the recording. Having a hard time mastering it up. Not sure when it will be "finished", as I am sort of behind on a bunch of real shit. I have already spent a little too much time trying to tweak it. But once it is done, I will give you a MEGA link.

The CEO of Nokia just got an unfortunate hard on in some meeting or something, and he has no idea why.

Same here man. Same with the Starplex.

Good to hear your got it taped at least. IMO it was one of Danny's better drum performances I've seen/heard in my 10 shows which is why I would like to hear it again.

I'll take a mega link if/when you decide to release it.
Thanks.

I'd appreciate a link as well. Specialk, did you happen to record Primus as well?

Yeah, taped Primus at Dallas and Tulsa both. Currently uploading Tulsa Tool to Dimeadozen. Shitty seats for both venues (for recording). I have about three versions of the Dallas recording right now (just different masterings of the same recording), and am trying to figure out which sounds best, if any. But alas, ear fatigue is setting in. If anyone wants to listen to a few songs, holler and I will send a mega link.
