Well, this is underwhelming, but exactly what I needed. I was riding too high on how good Descending and Invincible were. Now I am prepared for an unfortunate reality. Thoughts:
- Annoying Eat the Elephant vocal range/production. Sliding melody with no distinct form.
- Audio mix sounds like the band is just beyond sight, around a hill or something.
- This arrangement is weak, it never sounds like it really starts, just a build up of noises and meandering vocals. There isn't enough structure.
- Fart drums. Where the fuck is the clarity??
