Tool US 2019 Tour

Post by hellboy » Thu Dec 06, 2018 7:08 pm

Might as well kick this thread off. Already confirmed for Welcome to Rockville in FL, now Chicago Open Air strongly hinting at Tool:

Rockingham, NC? That place is hardly an epicenter of anything. Hours from most major cities. Run down raceway as the grounds. It will be interesting who they can bring out there.
I would totally go to it but my entire month of May is booked dammit! Fucking Tool!

That'd be nice, but Tool rarely seem that organised when it comes to tours. There could be contractual agreements with the festival providers as well.

My gut feeling at this stage is that we probably shouldn't expect much of a tour at that time - maybe just some festival dates with a more comprehensive tour later in the year.

Nevermind, I'll wait until the Fall. $150 for one day is wack.

Damn good idea. I doubt I'll lay down that kind of money for a band again, but that would be compelling. Especially if they were all in the room (I'm looking at you, chrome-dome), talking about their creative/recording process and taking questions. That would be gold, Jerry. GOLD. (just for you, RP).

I think it's more likely to them not being organised enough.

Got my tickets for the Louisville show. Talk about a cluster fuck. I sat waiting on TM for 20 minutes with a 2000+ people in front of me (and I got on right before 10). Ended up with 300-level tickets.

Oh well, can’t wait for the show!

Anyone lucky enough to get tickets this morning? I waited 45 minutes in the queue for Louisville and by the time it got to me only 300 level tickets were available :x

I was able to get floor row 16 for Des Moines on my first pull of tickets.

I just need to remind you guys, if they play Schism please remember to do the air calculator when Maynard sings 'I've done the math enough to know'.

It's like an air guitar except you pretend to be pushing the buttons of a calculator in the air.
