nope. i blame them for being greedy. the videos on youtube are in 480p too. i get doing that for youtube but not when you sell another of the same thing a few months later. so lame. id buy it for the extra pictures if i could get it for 20 or 30 bucks. im not paying 40 + with tax for this fn thing! no way. already got suckered the first time around.

Personally I’m digging the Book. It’s very high quality, the cards are BADASS, and the video download is pretty sweet! $30 and some change delivered to my doorstep on Friday at 3, and like I said through Amazon they give you an auto-zip of the Full Album. Gees I’ve blown my nose with $30 for much Much less quality shit. ;)

Woah, that's cool. Good to know. Thanks!

I like reading books. Ordered my copy today.

So is there any info about the vinyl release? Lazy dicks.
- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

How are they realistically going to do a vinyl release when each side only holds 22 minutes?

One track per side? Three discs? It's not rocket science

Getting up to change a record every ten minutes sounds like fun.

Every 22 minutes I assume, like every other record.

I've never owned vinyl so am pretty confused with the above. You've suggested 1 song per side x 3 discs, then said you'd only need to get off your arse every 22 minutes.

Im assuming, a record has the recording on both sides of the disc. So does it then read both sides without the need for you to flip it over?

So you're just going to sit there for 8 minutes in silence waiting for Side A to finish?

Nah, I'll probably just not be a lazy cunt and turn it over.

Perhaps Tool should have recorded shorter songs?

Nice try buddy. What are you complaining about exactly? That Tool write songs that are too long? That they shouldn't bother with vinyl because you're lazy? Personally I have no problem turning over a record. I you don't find it "fun", then I guess it's not the format for you.

Nice try? I'm just trying to ascertain how your 22 minutes became 12? Or was it just an innocent faux pa on your behalf? The simple fact is 'Every 22 minutes I assume, like every other record.' that the Tool record won't be like every other record.

Anyway lets just move on shall we.

No, I refuse to move on. No faux pa. No mathematical errors. Merely highlighting the point that every 22 minutes (at a maximum) you'd be swapping sides anyway. I'd imagine Tool are likely to put something closer to 22 minutes on each side than 12, so it seemed like a pretty understandable statement.

Perhaps I just operate at a higher level. That's ok - I embrace inclusiveness here on Fourtheye.

Mathematically impossible given the track lengths of each song.

Vinyl 1 Side A - Fear Inoculum - 10:20
Vinyl 1 Side B - Pneuma / Litanie contre la Peur - 14:08
Vinyl 2 Side A - Invincible / Legion Inoculant - 15:55
Vinyl 2 Side B - Descending - 13.38
Vinyl 3 Side A - Culling Voices / Chocolate Chip Trip - 14:53
Vinyl 3 Side B - 7empest / Mocking Beat - 17.50

I'll let you do the math and see if you can reduce the dead air, but none of the ways you can split this album will it take up 22 minutes each side.

You're interrupting a lively debate! Too much inter-rage to garner a respond.

for the record, (ha) I've never seen an player that can flip vinyl without manual intervention. ...Except for the jukebox in the opening sequence to Happy Days.
