As long as it's not the kind "celebration" we had with this Opiate "gift", I'd be happy to see
any kind of new Lateralus (vinyl) release.

No insider info I'm afraid. As much as I'd like a Lateralus re-issue, or anniversary edition, the bands track record at this kind of stuff is pretty fucking awful.

Yupe, that was epic ! There were pictures of they guy driving listening to the record and we all thought it was bullshit and oh boy! People were like why you don’t leak it!? They guy replied he didn’t have a computer so he met with other fans to upload it. Insane!

ya, that was pretty awesome seeing that. didn't he claim the burner in his laptop didnt work and these random dudes at some hotel in Vegas said come here and will do it ? i kinda thought the hotel might be a way to not share it from your house/IP address. that part made me wonder if it was setup before hand. who knows but that was fun and the bullshit was over.

I totally get that from him. he'll talk and be nice if you pay him 500 bucks. Well, to be fair, i've heard mixed reviews. Some say hes friendly and others say hes kind of a dick. Just depends i guess. His over all demeanor seems a bit snobby, imo. Doesnt really matter i guess. Hes on a roll with the guitars, if its easy money i guess its hard to refuse. If he promotes a Gibson triangle im in! haha

Based on my chat with him, I don't think he's a dick or snobby, just not overly great at making small talk. I'm not either for that matter
