It really, REALLY, looks like my favourite hiking spot in Korea.

With the added Charlie Sheen.

Seems as though Shavo from SOAD got drunk and ranted on Facebook last night:

Serj holding out probably shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.  When they played Soundwave a couple of years ago, it certainly looked like he was just going through the motions to me.  In it for the money I expect...

Agreed. I'd lose no sleep if they never toured or did another album

Dug the shit out of their first 2 Lp's when they were released, but the state of music wasn't great at the time so wasn't hard to stand out. Everything they released there after was fairly mediocre.

This track still holds up well I reckon.

 (Primus @ facebook)

JUST ANNOUNCED - Sailing the Seas of Cheese in 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound Release May 21, 2013
In a restoration personally overseen by Les Claypool, Primus’ acclaimed ‘Sailing The Seas Of Cheese’ has been newly mixed in stereo and Dolby 5.1 Surround for the first time since its 1991 debut for an expanded deluxe edition to be released May 21 by Universal Music Enterprises. The deluxe edition will feature the album’s new stereo mix on CD and the new 5.1 surround mix on Blu-ray or DVD, plus three exclusive, previously unreleased bonus tracks, including two live recordings from Primus’ 2012 “3D Tour” and a Bassnectar Remix of “Here Come The Bastards.” A 200-gram vinyl LP to be released on the same date also features Claypool’s new stereo mix of the album. In a “Mystery Vinyl” challenge for fans, 1000 unmarked, randomly selected copies will contain the new stereo mix on a yellow vinyl LP instead of black.

My vinyl came in from Amazon, and I "won" the yellow vinyl edition.  I can put up pics if people want.

SOAD is still one of the best live acts on the planet. plus the crowds at their shows are 70% hot chicks. Deftones brings out the hotties as well. when they both played at Jones Beach my girl was flashing me dirty looks for two hours haha. I was like a perverted old man at that show. then when the rains came? it turned into a heavily tattooed wet t-shirt contest!! but honestly, I hope this ends up on the positive side provoking Serj to move his ass.

I have to disagree with you there.  They're ok live, but not sure they can be considered one of the best in my opinion.

Deftones brings out the hotties as well.

I will agree with that statement though.

New Karnivool tune The Refusal available for free d/l:

http://karnivool.com.au/exclusive-single/download.html

On first listen, I find it interesting, but it hasn't quite grabbed me fully yet.  Kind of disjointed.  Took a while for some of the tunes on Sound Awake to kick in for me, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.  Looking forward to hearing the rest.
