Downtime
Downtime
Just a quote notice advising that Fourtheye will go down for a few hours sometime over the next day or so due to maintenance at the data warehouse. I have no idea when this will be, and since I'm in Bali most likely won't be able to update you on specifics.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Yep, sunset from the side of Mt Agung, the tallest mountain on the island. Hard to believe it came from my shitty camera phone.

Don't mow your lawn
Re: Downtime
I suggest visiting at least on volcano - Mt Batur is good for those that are inclined to do a less physical exercise. Also $10 massages every day. $2 Bin Tangs on the beach go down nice also.
Don't bother going to Kuta, the only thing you will discover is that Aussies who go there are morons. That said, the taxi driver I spoke to yesterday said Aussies were pretty good, and it's Europeans who are usually the worst behaved and most disrespectful. Not sure if he was just being nice.
Elephant Safari Park was pretty cool if you've never been up close with one, not sure I'd say it's essential (you might have better opportunities in Thailand I reckon).

Buy weed off guys that look like cops (they sell the best gear)
Pack your stuff in a boogie board cover, you'll look cooler then carrying a bag

Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral. I want that ship, not excuses.

Don't want to sound like a dick, but I took similar/much better photos in the Annapurnas in Nepal.N.Y.H.C. wrote:that picture is amazing.hellboy wrote:I suggest visiting at least on volcano - Mt Batur is good for those that are inclined to do a less physical exercise. Not so much in Korea or here in Australia. Hoping for some decent shots of Kosciusko early next year.

Re: Downtime
Too old for that anyway.
I love a beer, a sleep, and an early morning rise when I travel.
