What's not happening - Tool recording
But anyway, Puscifer gigs are fun, so there is that!

Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
So then Tool and Puscifer are gonna tour at the same time? (If Blair's hints are true)
Hey! Denty!
Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
Not sure I've seen that hinted anywhere personally. What I'd expect is that Tool would play shows before Monster Mash, and then Puscifer after.Ravenpig wrote:So then Tool and Puscifer are gonna tour at the same time? (If Blair's hints are true)
Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
Tool & Puscifer "at the same time" ? Not sure where that is referred to in recent newsletters, unless it's balls deep in code.Ravenpig wrote:The last couple of newsletters?
Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
No I meant that Blair has hinted at more Tool shows.
If Puscifer is touring then that would mean both are. IF Blair is correct.
Although I'm guessing even if it is true it'd probably be a handful of Tool dates scattered across a 6 week or so Puscifer tour.

Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
It's anyones guess really. It seemed like talks were happening for Tool shows, but nothing has surfaced yet - I'd expect for shows in October an announcement would be pretty soon, but I've heard no further rumblings from the Tool camp.Ravenpig wrote: Although I'm guessing even if it is true it'd probably be a handful of Tool dates scattered across a 6 week or so Puscifer tour.

PUSCIFER ANNOUNCES FALL TOUR; REVEAL MONEY SHOT COVER AND TRACK LIST AS PRE-ORDERS ARRIVE VIA PUSCIFER.COM
Jerome, Ariz., Aug. 17, 2015 – Puscifer, who recently announced a new album, Money Shot, and the release of the “Grand Canyon” video will be returning to the road, kicking off a six-week outing on Nov. 1 at the Monster Mash Festival in Phoenix.
“As is the Modus Operandi of Puscifer, there will be a whole new show to accompany the Money Shot release. We’ve been leaving a few clues here and there as to what it may entail,” said Keenan. “As usual, we prefer to Show rather than Tell. Odds are if you’ve been a fan of the diverse nature of our performances in the past, you’ll want to go ahead and place those bets.”
It’s no surprise that Maynard James Keenan choose to debut the electro rock band-meets-comedy troupe on a Las Vegas stage (Puscifer’s first shows were at The Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort). In the intervening years, we’ve met a cadre of characters including Billy D and Hildy Berger, Major Douche, Peter Merkin and spent time around a campfire, with an Airstream in the background, as audiences enjoyed a Sonoran sunset. Puscifer, who thrive on the element of surprise, have revamped their stage show, with no spoilers to share, we can only say it exceeds the production seen in recent outings.
The live line-up for the Money Shot tour includes Keenan, Mat Mitchell, Carina Round, Jeff Friedl, Mahsa Zargaran and the newest addition, Paul Barker (Ministry, Lead Into Gold).
Money Shot physical pre-order packages are available now via www.Puscifer.com. The various offerings include both signed and unsigned copies of the new album as well as an instant download of “Grand Canyon.”

Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
Definitely curious to see how much those VIP packages will be going for. I won't be buying one, but still interested in to see the price tag.
Sounds like it's going to be quite a show though.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Tool.
Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
That's actually less than I thought they'd be, considering a signed copy of the CD is being sold for $99 by itself. Not bad.Ravenpig wrote:$375 and $250, they both have a ton of stuff included.

Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
So this is Round 1. Which means they'll probably go back on the road again in the winter/spring (Februrary/March-ish) to hit the smaller markets. And who the hell is Luchafer?
Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
Dallas is $75 and the Vegas show has a price range of $43 to $103.xZ1mM3r wrote:how much is an average ticket? non VIP
Other venues differ as well. Location, location, location.

Well, so far it appears that rumour ain't correct. If Failure (or even APC) were playing as well I expect they'd have been announced too.hellboy wrote:Word around the place is that Failure will be joining them in a Cinquanta 2.0
Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
Just purchased tickets for the Dec. 11th show in LA. Axs tickets is doing a Amex pre sale right now. So stoked that I don't have to play the waiting room games that axs does. Such a bitch when there are thousands of people trying to get tickets at once. So stoked for the show!
Re: Puscifer Tour 2015
I tried pre sales for the Fox in Oakland, but just found shit seats. Tried the public sale this morning, nothing in the pit at all (in fact, the only main floor seating is at the very back of the room)! Very disappointing. But decided to check upstairs and got row B in the loge. Not ideal, as sound at the Fox upstairs blows, but at least I'll have a good view.
For anyone on the fence, Puscifer live is SO much better than their studio recordings (so far - interested in hearing the rest of the new material). It's definitely worth making the effort to see them live.
