Ex Machina

Took a while to get going but really liked where it ended up going.

Mr Robot is one hell of a show. I don't think the second season will be as strong but I look forward to it.

Just started Narcos, after 2 episodes I am hooked. Not sure of the accuracy of the events being depicted but it is interesting nonetheless.

Agreed. It was worth watching, but didn't live up to its potential. To be fair, with this subject matter, everyone is just taking shots in the dark. Provoking thought is a good goal, and some do it better than others.

I'm also trying to explore some older movies that I missed. Let me know what you think of Forbidden Games.

this came highly recommended by a friend of mine.

I'm not sure if it's on Amazon or Netflix. could be On Demand depending upon your cable, it's definitely on the torrents. I've already seen the Tesla episode, Glenn Curtiss is someone I knew NOTHING about. that's definitely next on the watch list.

Sicario was fantastic.

Hands down film of the year.

I'm 2 episodes in at the moment. Really enjoying it. History comes alive!

Black Mass was excellent, Depp was terrifying. I enjoyed Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation as well. not as good as Ghost Protocol though, not even close. I hear The Martian and Sicario will be dropping online sooner than later btw. Spectre will be the next IMAX visit, at least that's the plan.

We'll be watching Black Mass tonight. Anyone check out AHS: Hotel? Thoughts? I enjoyed it, but Lange's presence is definitely missed.

I really liked Sicario, but there were a few things that really stuck out as week elements.
► Show Spoiler
Despite the above, I still really enjoyed it, and will most likely check it out again.

I also saw The Martian. That's a good one too: Castaway meets Apollo 13.

@ Norm - for new movies, you should use Spoiler text (if you're on your phone, I know that might not be possible). Fixed it for you.

I just watched I am Chris Farley. Very funny, very fucking depressing. No need for a spoiler alert there, unfortunately.

Highly recommended if you were a Farley fan, and even if you weren't

It's that not big deal. There's no real context to any of it, so it's hard to really be upset since I don't have understanding of what the hell your talking about.

To be clear, I wasn't upset. And it was quite easy to just not read it (I didn't, 'cause I haven't see the movie). I just think since the option is there, we should use it.

It's all good.

I definitely recommend checking the movie out. Really good flick, despite some very minor distractions.

The Guest

Pretty good, though I think I would have enjoyed it more if they cut out the whole Lance Reddick part of the story. I like Lance Reddick but I don't feel like his characteradded much. He existed mainly to explain things that I think could've been better as a mystery. Overall though I dug it.

It gets better, but you should probably skip the first 4 episodes.

That said, I never got around to watching the second half of the season. I just kinda lost interest, especially with it being cancelled.
