Tool USA Tour 2016

Contacted 3Teeth through their facebook page, asked them if they could say when they would be announcing the second half of their tour and if they would be solo or opening up for Tool and Primus. They replied that they WILL be opening for "those shows" as well but obviously cannot say when and where these shows will be. They also said the announcement should be soon as expected.

Very cool of you Tanner! I was lucky enough to snag 1 for Sunday. Some other very kind soul on Craigslist hooked me up with a face + fees ticket in Section C, Row 8. He purchased a few extras when he had the chance and is passing them on at cost too. There's one left, Section V iirc, if anybody else is interested. Just check out the SD CL listings.

This is the way it should be working. Not scooping up masses of tickets and reaming other fans. I've done the same plenty of times, and I applaud the effort.

Hoping to find a good single for Saturday, and I'm sure it will work out.

Well I don't think it's any surprise that more shows are going to be added but this confirmation comes from the Primus newsletter.

It was a funny email from the Primus guys - "Hey guys, we're going on tour with Tool. Catch is the tour has already sold out! See you next time!"

I'm going to keep looking for tickets to the first San Diego show. Something is sure to happen to get me to go (hopefully).

Looks like the New Orleans date has been removed from TM, it at least doesn't show up as a search result for Tool anymore, I imagine that it's the right date though, I'm losing hope that tool makes it to the Philly area.

The on-sale date was Saturday (12/4) so I'm guessing we'll get another tour announcement with the rest of the dates next Monday or Tuesday (11/30 or 12/1).

Interesting comment from Junior on the blog not long ago:

"No idea yet if and when the rumoured second half of the tour might be announced. "

I would lean more towards the first announcement containing "half the total shows" than there being a "second half".
ie: some of the empty dates will fill in, rather than there being a longer tour. I think it will end at January's end.

Also, the announced lineup (with Primus and 3teeth) is likely the only lineup you will see on this round.

As per juniors knowledge over in t.d.n. San Diego is the only double date

they haven't played anywhere in New York since 2006 and that was Long Island. before that was MSG in 2001 I think? I know this a grudge type post but I think that's impossible to explain. anyone else agree with me on that?
