I can't separate my nostalgia and frame of reference from Singles. It's definitely not the greatest movie, but I enjoy it. It plays so much weirder than I remember from my youth though. Then again, what doesn't?

Nostalgia is a funny thing. I can't see how it was well-received even back when it came out. It's fucking terrible, and it constantly insists on itself.
If they had chosen different people for the main two roles, we might've had a winner.
As it stands, yuck.

I'm not crazy about Peral Jam. They are playing in my hometown of Moline IL, which hasnt gotten a decent concert in about 10 years... And it just so happens to be the day before I get married at a hotel less then a mile a way from the venue.
If anyone makes it to this show, make sure to check out the John Deere pavilion across the street if your killing time before the show.
