Fuck, maybe I should just listen to it. YOB are one of those rare bands where I want everything to be perfect for my first time, though.

I watched the teasers but I mean... it's what you'd expect. Listening to a short clip of a YOB track is essentially useless and only serves to drive you mad because you NEED to hear the other 9~ minutes of awesomeness to appreciate the context. The most recent one in the thread has a nice hint at a lovely melody though. Just bring me the fucking album already. Can't wait.

Unsurprisingly, it's pretty good.

I LOVE the melody that winds throughout, and there's some nice tones and effects approaches that I haven't heard them really take before. Very promising for the rest of the alb... well, the other three songs. Ha.

I like that the author needed to spend two whole paragraphs setting up his baseball metaphor.

This is amazing. Nearly finished the first half, and "Nothing To Win" is still kicking my ass. Is this their fastest song? I'm having trouble thinking clearly at the moment.
