It could be released June 11th 2019, although...that's a Tuesday.

Most new albums are now released on Fridays.

yes, new albums in North America are released on Fridays. some people are putting it on Tuesdays like you mentioned. i thought maybe Australia and where ever else might be Tuesdays still based on that. cant change your vote now! i just got the last one in for June on the frideggs! bahaha. were all wrong..it wont come out till the fall now probably

Well we can’t all pick May 17th, can we Hellboy? I picked the 14th, so that I can at least be close to greatness, if not great myself... and I have fond memories of picking up Lateralus on a sunny Tuesday in May 2001.

ya, i still remember i was working in Niagara Falls the day Lateralus came out. stopped by a record store as soon as it opened and drove around doing my lawns listening to it all day. i have fonder memories the day Aenema came out. both are cool but Oct 2nd 1996 was neat. i see this cd with no name on the front and i knew it was them. the good old days of not seeing everything online first! and being younger had a lot to do with it too.

speaking of which ,are any of you guys trying to maybe avoid spoilers ? its tough this day in age but i almost want to try for once. i prob will fail though in those regards/wont even try! ha. its worth a mention i guess. just curious.

maybe i should of used a different word. i mean experiancing hearing and seeing it first sitting behind a computer screen cause it was leaked a bit early :/ in a sense spoiled from the excitment of seeing it in person for the only first time you will ever have with it Its not as impactful when all that happened sitting at my comp looking at jpgs and hearing it. it feels less then it should.

it would be nice to walk into the store not knowing what it looks like at all or hearing anything other then the single by that point. its more fun and memorable that way! like i said earlier, i have strong memories of buying Aenema the most. im also not 19 or whatever i was when that came out but still. it would be nice to do that in 2019 cause it barely happens anymore and i sorta want to try but not sure i can. ha

I think you have strong memories of buying Aenima because the internet didnt exist, and you were forced to go to the store to purchase it. Those days are gone.

I fully intend on listening to every "spoiler" or "leak" that arises before the album is released. I dont see the need to experience it for the first time completely blind and unknowing, likely with headphones on on vinyl while taking LSD, if reddit has anything to say about how people should listen to albums.

I hope i can download it via Spotify and listen to it as i do all my other music.

ya, thats what i mean. it was more memorable back then but i was also younger so its different and im not expecting that as much now cause im not 19. thats fine but just saying that was a great time and Aenema pretty much went were i expected it to. never really had that happen like that again.


it will be aewsome regardless but ive followed suit like anyone else and right now id love to go back and experiance this one that way. not many tool albums left probably so thats why im thinking this too.
