The Thin Red Line is a great movie, better then Saving Private Ryan from the same year.

And Megan Fox is quite okay, yes. She is still the Transformers female lead. And was funny to watch in Jennifer's Body & Jonah Hex.

For all you Raid fans you really need to check out Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning.

Don't let the title fool you, it's loosely based on US and it's fucking insane.

You're doing yourself a disservice not watching this.

Over a decade later and I've finally finished up watching The X-Files.

What did you think of it? A couple of years ago I re-watched it, skipping most of the "Monster of the Week" type episodes and really enjoyed it. The ending didn't really bother me either.

It's great. It's up there as one of my favorite shows of all time.

There wasn't any reason behind me not watching it. I just never did. I think you'd be surprised by some of the shows I've never seen for pretty much the same reason.

I haven't seen The Simpsons for at least 15 years, probably more.

Off the top of my head:

The Wire
24
Game of Thrones
Lost
Walking Dead
Dexter
Any non Sopranos, Flight of the Conchords, HBO show.
Heroes
Any of the DC "teen" shows (or whatever) Smallville etc.

Less serious stuff:

Friends
Home Improvement (hey it was a pretty big show)

There's plenty more but that's just off the top of my head.

Is this weird or am I not quite the unique snowflake I'm making myself out to be?

Nah, it's not weird at all, but if it makes you feel better then hold onto it.

Lost, Friends, Heroes, and Home Improvement are the only ones I really don't have any experience with.

Finished watching The Wire last week and it is excellent.

I've only seen the second to last season of 24, before the reboot.

I've seen the first two seasons of Game of Thrones.

I've seen every episode of The Walking Dead.

I've watched most of Dexter though I fell off a few episodes into the last season.

I've seen one episode of Deadwood, and every episode of Six Feet Under.

And I've caught a few episodes of Smallville way back when.

Honestly the only one I'm curious about is The Wire. I'll give that a whirl sometime.

I was actually kinda sad when I finished it. I really didn't want it to end.

Season 2 was the best season.

Also Und, you really need to give Deadwood another try, such a great fucking series, top 5 for me for sure.

I feel like I'm saving "The Wire" for something, not sure what though. I've never seen 30 seconds of it but I've heard it's awesome.

Same here, exactly (and I thought I was one of the only ones). Finally got it queued up on Amazon Prime, which I almost never use, but glad I have it.

I have Treme saved up for when I have a decent tv, speakers and a bluray player.

I stepped aside 5 episodes in realising I don't have the tech to fully appreciate what David Simon was showing me.
