It's 4:30 in the morning and I'm trying to decide if I should go to bed or watch Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie.

I think I'm going to go to bed.

The whole movie is up on YouTube so maybe we could Synchtube it sometime. Could be fun.

Watched Snowpiercer last night. Really enjoyed it. Probably my favorite movie of the year so far.

Ray Donovan is one of the best shows on tv

^Just started watching Ray Donovan - not to shabby.

Finished watching the first season of Silicon Valley over the weekend - pretty funny but I found the main guy hard to watch at times...certainly not 'office space' funny.

Silicon Valley is pretty good. I enjoy it more than Office Space, probably because I identify with the subject matter a little more.

Bought the new Denis "Prisoners" Villenueve film Enemy on blu ray:

If you haven't seen it yet, PLEASE go out of your way to do so.

I'm not going to spoil you as to what it's all about but....yikes!....that final "scene" and all......

It's creepier than any horror film I can ever remember - just about.

You probably have, but I can't for the life of me remember anyone posting it before. Then again, if you posted it on a work day, I probably didn't see what it was due to Youtube blocking in the office.

I watched the first screener when it came out last year - was looking forward to it but was disappointed.

Too weird for me - reminded me of 'Donnie Darko' 15 years later.

Here comes the hate and "you're dumb f&ck not to get both movies", "those two movies are nothing alike" comments.... :)

I don't know, maybe I like my movies with a bit more realism. What's realism?

A whole other argument that can be used to support such films.

I never got the love for Donnie Darko.

Or Pulp Fiction.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Pulp Fiction was cheesy with ridiculous black humor and one-liners typical of Tarantino. Very average at best.

Donnie Darko.... :? :x

Well...we have something in common! Who'da thunk it?

Anyway, yeah both those films stink to high heaven...."desperately, pathetically wanting to be hip" I believe my comments were when I managed to see each.

And the same goes for the stinkerama that was Requiem For A Dream.

Exact same diagnosis as the other two.

Requiem For A Dream gets a pass for the sad mother speed drama, that was legit.

The rest COME ON a junkie sticking it into the same vein EVERY DAMN TIME

Come on son!

EH when have we ever had massive disagreements?

Pulp Fiction is so subpar if you watch it a second & third time. Now I just do not watch it anymore.

Requim for a Dream is a pretty good movie to show kids at school to show the effects of drugs... plus Aronofsky lets his actors shine.
