Maybe. But I feel like they were in the studio for awhile. Longer than I would think for an EP. It's also been awhile since they've released new music. Donkey Punch The Night was 2 years ago and that was mostly covers. I think there's a good chance they've written a full album of tunes.

Well May Jay has said in interviews over the years that his intention for puscifer after the first album was for it to be only singles and EPs. The only reason COMP became a full album was because Carina and Matt added so much of their own ideas. Of course, that could be the case here again.

Cause I mean, May Jay has probably gotten SOME of the Tool writing done, right? Right? That would've eaten some time.

Anything but another remix album.

Maybe. It's also possible that COMP sold a lot better than Donkey Punch The Night and he's reconsidered that whole singles & EPs thing.

I feel like COMP and V is for are talked about a lot more than any of the EPs so it wouldn't surprise me if that was indeed the case.

Highly doubt it's a remix album. I don't think he'd be teasing that this far in advance. And what's there to remix anyway? Everything's already been remixed already.

Unless... they're remixing the remixes.

COMP was also a hundred times better than Donkey Punch.

And I'd say C is for... is their second most popular release, not far behind COMP.

This has been in the pipeline for a while now. My gut feeling says it's an album despite what Maynard has said in the past in regards to whether or not they'd release albums in the future.

Yep, definitely seems like an album and possibly a tour.

So the Tool show is a one off in the middle of a Puscifer tour?

Just like rivers edge. With Danny and adam with newborns this makes a lot of sense.

Maybe puscifer will be at the festival of they haven't announced the final acts

It's possible, though I don't think anything is set in stone yet as far as tours go. I still think there's a likelihood of further Tool shows, though I doubt it'll be more than a handful.

My guess: Tool will record either in Q4 of 2015 or Q1 2016. Puscifer will tour in whichever Q Tool don't record in. That Maynard has suggested 2015 for Puscifer "shenanigans" lets me think that Tool recording in Q1 2016 is more likely.

I wouldn't call Adam's son a new born. In fact, I think Maynard's daughter is younger and almost a year old.

Yeah, maybe, I dunno. This is definitely the part of being a fan of anything that I cringe at...the personal/private stuff.

But back to the topic at hand...I haven't listened to any Pusficer in a while, and I always enjoy checking out new music, so it's something concrete to look forward to.

Fuck yes more Puscifer. Hope it's an album.

Matt McJunkins and Jeff Friedl are both currently touring with Eagles Of Death Metal. EODM are booked until mid December. Thus I think it is unlikely that Puscifer will tour this year. There might be a chance that Maynard will replace them for a fall 2015 tour (Blair and Maynard have given small hints of a Puscifer 2015 tour), but my guess is that Maynard probably wants to keep them in the band. So my guess is that if there is a Puscifer tour, it wont be until 2016.

Unless he replaces them with Justin and Danny.
