Disney is on the cheap this month so I might try Visions and watch some movies I haven't seen yet. But the trailer for Bobo isn't really exciting imo.

It’s WandaVision btw…

Anybody check out What If? It’s pretty interesting imo.

Than just watch the movie. Fine if you have read the book before but not a must do.

As with most long books, there's parts that are missing, but they don't mess with the story as much as some movies do.

An update: I decided to just plunge in and read it really quick (relatively speaking). I know you are all losing sleep over this.

Will def watch. But they missed a huge opportunity to do an Obi Wan / Trainspotting crossover… a strung out Ben would be amazing.

Have you not noticed how trailers give away nearly every major plot point?

But, to answer your question, no. I like your optimism.

Yeah, but you can clearly seen that baby from Trainspotting has grown up and is now living in a desert somewhere. The real T2 confirmed!

Funny you guys should mention Trainspotting in a Star Wars thread (other than for the obvious reason) the major theme of Trainspotting 2 was how nostalgia wasn't exactly a good thing.

Simon: Nostalgia! That's why you're here. You're a tourist in your own youth. Just 'cause you had a near-death experience and now you're feeling all fuzzy and warm. What other moments will you be revisiting? Like you were the one who gave Tommy that bad gear?

Renton: How about your baby Dawn she'd be what twenty now?

It's not like I don't revisit my dark moments. It's ok to balance that with light ones.

i heard a bunch of spoilers for this show and the trailer is confirming them. the little scene with baby luke pretending to fly a podracer wasnt one of them, that was cool! i really like TPM score going on in the trailer. seems they are getting into nods to the prequels these days. Mandos new ship, now this. This prob will be better then the BOBF. They kinda messed that one up but it was ok sorta.

The Book of Boba Fett had it's moments, but was generally pretty average. Not a high bar for this new series to top! The trailer looks great though, so fingers crossed

Yeah, that's all we need - another woke Star Wars abortion to fuck with our childhoods.

Is Darth Coal the 'baddie' in this one??

Why does Cal care so much about US politics? I couldn’t give less of a fuck about politics in Oz… He’s bought into the Fox News bullshit so heavy, maybe he’s one of Rupert’s brats?

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, climate change was roolly roolly baaaard and racial inequity was rampant..
The Sith were forcing fossil fuels on innocent civilians and the LGBTQ+ community was up in arms at the possibility of there being only two genders..

HA! I should get a job at Disney. This shit just fucking writes itself....

What are you actually railing against? That there people of colour and non-male characters in Star Wars? Correct me if I'm wrong but these characters also existed in the original trilogy.

Perhaps your childhood was ruined well before you became a snowflake
