It's billionaire, Vicki. Millionaires are so last year.
That's a terrible argument. That, and the Ledger argument people have been throwing around today on the interweb superinformation highway.hellboy wrote:We'll see I guess. I would have said that Michael Keaton would have made a shit Batman too, but that turned out pretty well imo.
Diplomatic, as usual. And, you're right, to an extent.hellboy wrote:To be honest, I don't expect this movie will be good. I tend to go into most comic adaptions with pretty low hopes, because the hit rate is quite low. Affleck doesn't fill me with any confidence at all, but I see no reason to disregard the movie entirely just yet.
There are plenty of movies where someone is seemingly miscast and it works out well. Look at Daniel Craig in James Bond for instance. People were pretty critical when he was announced, and it turned out quite well.
It's all too easy these days, especially with the internet for people to judge things without really giving them a change. Sure, this movie would turn out to be a steaming pile of shit, and it could be all Affleck's fault, but surely judgement should be rendered after people have had a chance to see it.
TL/DR, but let's fucking hope Afleck does a damn site better as Batman then he did as Daredevil. Weak Sauce. Not Tyson wrote:http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/b ... man-612907
Well, there's also The Justice League to consider here. And I hope they make that work somehow. It has potential. Not Tyson wrote:I don't care for superman anyway so I'm not even worried

Yeah, I saw that amazingly witty and edgy troll he pull on us all. True comedic brilliance. Not Tyson wrote:I think he's pretty hilariousThe Boss wrote:I really, really, dislike Patton Oswalt. Everyone seems to think he's some comedic genius, but he's just another bland, boring, ugly, fat dude.

He was also great in United States of Tara, a criminally underrated comedy full of feels and hilarity.
